I got to drive the car for 1 tank before my servo went kaput. I must say it's everything everyone said it would be. So smooth and so much steering. Can't wait to try it again. Some tweaks to the setup and I had it running almost as good as the FW-05R. I have to change the diff oil to 100,000 or diff lock even. What is everyone running in the rear diff?
Worthwhile mods for the rear of the EVO.
Mugen engine mounts, fivestar clutchbell and 3 racing or FW05R flywheel. This gets the engine down low and lighter and I found it added a fair bit of rear grip on transition turns. The side belt rubs if you use the 27T side pulley, but the 25 or 26 side pulley will make the belt miss the header.
Also the kawahara rear swaybar and rear shock tower seems to work great on the car. Seemed to add some rear grip.

I was wondering if kyosho was planning on discontinuing the v one rr evo since they came out with the shaft car. I was really leaning toward getting the evo but I wanted to keep it for a couple of seasons and wanted to make sure the support would be there. Thanks in advance........Slingblade
Fivestar clutchbell? How is that better than the stock one?

5 stars bell 1
5 stars bell 2
That explains it. Has anyone tried the fast pully set from 3Racing?

All those are good mods. I've been searching for the Kawahara sway bars for a while and can't find any online store in HK with them listed. Could you please provide the part number and the place you got them from.

In you have a PayPal account (all though other payment methods are available) than I wouldn't go past the HK online shops. There are a number of choices and the one's I list may be added to by other helpfull forum posters. They are in my order of my preference.
[email protected] You need to send him an email on what you want and he will reply PROMPTLY with a price. Don't forget to tell Lam where you are so that he can correctly quote EMS shipping.
RCModel A good site but they take to long to ship the order for my liking.
Dinball RC Mart
RC-Mushroom
Rainbow Ten Difficult site to navigate
Some other site's are listed here RC Underground
Hope this helps
