Didn't rub anywhere, the anti rollbar has about 2mm of space in every direction. ;)

Hey DS,

Did you have to machine down the bulkhead where the red wire holders sit? Or did you just have to cut the upper bulkhead (bearing covers).

I had to machine the sides of the bulkheads where the red bushings are sitting, just did it with a dremel tool though.
Also had to cut a groove were the wire sits in and drill 2 holes with m3 thread for the wire.
The upper part of the bulkheads didn't need modification.
Also made 4 holes with m3 thread on the sides of the lower and upper bulkhead to mount two carbon brackets for stiffness.

When I really like the system and it is faster as the stock system I will have a set of bulkheads and the carbon parts machined professionally, now I did everything with a dremel tool.

To be honest the only true upgrades for the NT1 are: in no particular order:

lightweight middle shaft
lighteight front shaft
yellow clutch shoe
light weight brake disk adpater
1 degree front knuckle arms
0.7 front sway bar soft
km racing brake pads

Umm, what about the lightweight clutch bell?

mrgsr 06-27-2010 11:17 PM

I have been using the xray aluminium bell with good success..

i was going to mention clutch but it would not have fit the budget..

i have just received the xca clutch and will be testing that this weekend so ill report back on it then.

i would of dropped the light weight brake disk adaptor bro and added the alumium clutch bell in a flash. the bell is night and day compared to the crappy steel one.

Thanks guys for the ideas... it will make my decision easier. i'll have a look at those items & see if i need to stretch my budget a bit. regarding alu clutch bell, anybody here have same experience as TomB?

mrgsr 06-28-2010 04:29 AM

aluminium clutch bell is awesome
you just have to watch the wear on them

i would prefer the xray steel lightweight/ventilated

RC MARKET 06-28-2010 06:58 AM

4 Attachment(s)
XRAY Released 2 option parts
& Low Friction belt V2

This is the clutch bell I was referring to. Works great, no problems. On my third season with it.
