Congrats to Paul Lemieux for his win at the ROAR Nats in sedan, and Ralph Burch for his TQ. Don't know what happened to Ralph's car early on in the main, but these two have been laying it down all over! These guys are always helpful, and supportive to racers at every event I have been to. Hopefully next year I will get a chance to race the nats..... and just race more often.

Yup, congrads to Paul. Couldn't have been won by a nicer guy!

i know its a big ask,

Come-on fire up the machine again:lol::lol::lol: |
the one way measureed 42mm bearing to bearing on the RRR..
if anyone has a nt1 diff they dont need, im willing to buy it to try fit it in the rrr. |
anyone kind enough to count the teeth in the rear diff?

And the Nt1 has a final drive ratio of 2.05 that means the rear diff pully should be 41 teeth. this is how I found it If I'm wrong you'll let me know. Pass you soon... |
spool
What's a good wt for rear diff when running a front spool on high traction track

what do you mean by 'eccenter'? is that with the bearing hub on?
just want to know outside to outside http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/1850/17062010.jpg also the weight of the diff? and weight with xceed lightweight gears, and cups The measurement shown in your picture is the bearing outside to outside measurement so 39.90. I have the Capricorn diff gears and pins and Xray lightweight outdrives, but I forgot how much they weighed, it was around 20-25 grams lighter compared to a stock diff. Edit: front diff 24 grams, rear diff 27 grams. Would recommend the Capricorn diff gears if you want the plastic gears since they last and have been thoroughly tested, I've already seen multiple broken Xceed diff gears.

Btw this is what I'm currently working on:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3...8062010005.jpg I really dislike the blade-type ARB, and almost bought a Serpent just because of the front wire type ARB the 733 has. When the Capricorn set was released I decided to go for it and make it work on the NT1. Received the set yesterday and it seems to be more of a challenge as I thought it would be. :lol: I still have to machine the sides of the bulkheads so I can fasten the red bushings and have to make some carbon sideplates so I can fasten the top sides op the front bulkheads. Had to cut the front off so make space for the ARB, but lost the two front mounting holes in the process. Also planning on cutting two carbon plates for the downstop adjustment. Planning on testing the system this Saturday. :nod: |

With high traction tracks you should always try to increase the rear diff locking as this will give you maximum acceleration. However with very thick rear diff oils the car only works when you are right on the racing line, 10 cm's off and the car will spin out, that's why I would recommend different oils for different skill levels. |
Thanks
