Yeah thanks...I was using that. Just that there isn't a tool for me to hold the clutch bell down to unscrew the bigger pinion.

Btw, does anyone know the spring rate for the stock silver springs that came with the car? I can't get on Xray's website...anyone experiencing that too?

Cheers.

Here's the tool that would hold the clutch bell while you use the pinion gear tool. It's also a Flywheel holder...

The car comes with 33 weight springs in front and 28 in the rear;)

Relax the four top screws and four bottom screws. Tigthen all the screws at the position where you can spin the gears the most freely.

I tried to mount my throttle servo under the upper deck instead of being on top but i noticed it wouldnt work do you think getting a low profile servo would be a good idea

I've been running the low profile servo's in the car for more than a year now with no problems. And for the throttle servo, it is under the deck. I've just switched over to the half hight servo's to run in the steering..(KO servo's)

breez1090 02-19-2009 03:00 PM

you use em for both steering and throttle ? whats the model number for the ko low profile servo .....are they fast?

rcfoolz 02-19-2009 05:08 PM

PDS 2413 and Futaba 9550 I just switched to the KO servo's

breez1090 02-19-2009 05:28 PM

WHICH ONE IS FASTER
