You will have no trouble getting parts, and neither should your lhs.
Their prices are about the same as other brands. Lots of good mail order
places out there to get parts from.
Nexus has been mentioned, and Ashford is really good as well. But if you want to support your lhs, they should have no problem getting parts from RC America.

everyone says that xray parts are expensive... but the parts are more durable than other brands, so you dont pay much more compared to other brands.

This is why I hate LHS's and I want to own one someday. The parts are not hard to get, most LHS's don't stock them because this is a race touring car and they stock parts for mostly bashing. Most of your parts will come from online shops like nexusracing, kamikazehobbies, ashfordhobby, amainhobbies, etc. My local shops don't stock the parts either, but I never having a problem with any of these places not having what I need unless it's really new to the market.

Yes they are more expensive than the other brands, but they also don't break easy so you get what you pay for.

I have difficulties in removing my 2nd speed pinion gear. Any tips or is there a

tool to clamp down the clutch bell ? I have both pinion removal tools with me.

I don't know which pinion tools you have, but sometimes the 2nd gear pinion will be hard to remove. One thing to try is heating the pinion with a propane torch. Don't overdo in heating to remove the anodizing, but just heat it up. If you are using a steel clutch bell and aluminum pinion.... the aluminum pinion will expand more than the steel. It should come right off.

Next time put a little dab of copper paste between the bell and the pinions.
If you don't aluminium and steel will bind in to each other because of a chemical reaction. Same for engine screws.

I use the copper paste also. I would damage at least one screw everytime I tried to remove my engine.

If you have two holes in your bell you can put a strong bit of wire through them like a wire from a pipe stay, then hold onto it inside the bell with some multi grips or vice grips then you said you had those tools to fit around the pinion. Just get the one that fits and swing off it;)

My endbell is the stock one with only one hole. Will be changing to the

lightweight one...much easier to work with besides being lighter. Will try the

How do you adjust the gear mesh? I read in the instructions and it said to loosen the lower screws on the engine mount. On my chassis, there is no room for the lower screws to move, so the mesh pretty much stays the same. Can anyone help? Thanks

I'm using the exceed 7.4 volt lipo, it is very light and power is great. only charge every second race meet so far .

Relax the four top screws and four bottom screws. Tigthen all the screws at the position where you can spin the gears the most freely.
