What's your front droop setting? I set mine to 0 but when the traction came up the car had a lot of understeer. Setting the front to 1 helped with this quite a bit.

funny that, i'd go total opposite and got o the lower figures, -1 or -2, infact i run it so there is maximum sag of the arms when the car is lifted from the shock towers.

...anyway what are you doing hanging around the NT1 thread...don't you have an engine to re build?

...or are you secretly still in love with the NT1 and wanting to get one? Master Arnamwat has one, when will you defect?

also, i've got some Tornado 16% that i brought in (finally got it from customs!) and Jay bought some of me. Preliminary results say it's pritty bloody good. PM me for more info

Was running at the track today and experimenting with changing the rear setup to overcome oversteering (rear breaking loose when turning in off throttle). I noticed changing the diff oil seems to be the most effective way than changing roll center. Is this correct?

Seperately, my front understeers a bit so I use a lower shore on front than rear which slows me down in turns. Other than changing to a 26T pulley (I am using 25T), what other things can I do without changing caster (I use max caster to get solid stability at straights).

I use 2 holes w 60wt oil front, and 3 holes w 60wt oil back. Pink springs.

Cheers.

Usually If I have problems with the car being loose on turn in I adjust my rear droop so that it is higher, which will help limit weight transfer towards the front. You can also try lowering the rear shock position, or raising front positions. Try not to change too many things at once. Also the easiest adjustment I make is just an increase of rear toe, which will definitely have an effect. Having a softer shore tire up front should increase corner speed not scrub it. A harder shore tire up front will make the car less twitchy, and more pushy, which will also scrub corner speed. Switching to a 26t pulley shouldn't really help your situation because the purpose of it is to help the rear swing around the front more easily. I'm guessing that you used a thinner diff oil in the rear which will give you more traction, but usually there is more of an on power push. so you can try increasing front droop, caster although you don't want to mess with, 1 less hole in r shock piston, or increasing front roll center by lowering upper arms.
