Some of the team drivers are using the square orion spring though, I have one but I haven't tried it yet. Unlike the other clutches, the weights really are supposed to be mounted with the pins through the holes.

I read that alot of people are using the Orion spring (square). Can someone tell me if the part number is #88680? If not, what is it? I'm not saying I think anything is wrong with the kit spring but it never hurts to try something new .....

A switch could be a weak link however the connector for the battery coming loose is going to give you the same effect.

I fly nitro helis also and over half of them have on/off switches, nitro everywhere, constant vibration and yes the occasional impact. The motors are constantly turning high rpm, never had any problem with any switches personally. Definitely easier and trustworthy to use.

What is the square spring supposed to do or not do?

Dude, hey man. Sorry I didn't read your post sooner, I would have sent a pic. I found a pic of how the TM harness is used. It is VERY cool and works great. I will post more pics of my other cars to show you different ways. All of my nitro's are a direct connention! The picture isn't the best but will give you an idea. Sorry this is all I have for now, but gives you an idea. Will post more soon!:)
