You should reroute your fuel tube. It begging to get into the gear mesh how it's sitting now.

On the list as well :) I didn't have enough to do the double wrap around the tank. Picking up some more tube, a fuel filter, and a power switch (didn't realize it wasn't included) at lunch.

Drives awesome :) I want a little more off brake steering, so I'll work on that. Other than that, Ramos's setup is solid for a large outdoor slightly to moderately loose track.

Alright Tekno, one thing I would like to see added to the option list of this car is carbon clutch shoes. Carbon shoes really smooth out the clutch action and can make the aluminum shoes last longer. I noticed when I raced minne is that the clutch is very grabby, enough so that I think its out of the tunable range of the clutch springs.

Can't figure what shoes from amain for 2x carbon/alu gonna work - carbon and alu? Or its ok to install slightly used stock alu shoes with new carbon?

Carbon shoes will wear out before the aluminum ones do. So its ok to run used ones with new carbons.

Kit arrived wed, threw it together and got it broken in just in time for the races today.

It performed very well, I made it through my first 30 minute a-main (which is a feat in itself given the fact I haven't done nitro in a long time and we have a lot of really good local drivers), and pulled of a 7th place finish. Officially broken in:

It could indeed be partially tires, but I do need to work on the steering. I have less than some and my e-buggy is quite a bit more aggressive (to the point of being out of control I think in comparison to the NB48). That being said, I think I had 5-10 minor mistakes in the a-main, so my NB48 was the more consistent of the two today.

I'll break it down and play with the setup this week.

Has anyone else looked at the NB and thought, "1/10 4wd Nitro SC"?

Well here at wolfpack rc in Arkansas and had enough of broken tanks for one day. Their were 4 casualties, and I had enough, hello losi fuel tank.

You may want to try moving the motor back up front. I like alot of steering
but this car has a ton of rear traction even in the front motor config.

Set steering d/r to 92% and it really calmed down this buggy. Only swapped swaybars from stock config posted in e-manual on website, and amazed how it handles bumps

Been noticing the same thing on my setup. I'm loving how planted it is but pushes mid turn, on high bite and low bite. Me and Mike Asher have been discussing it and we are thinking a solid solution would be the 10 degree spindles. That's my first change I will make as well as dialing out a lil front brake. After that we will see but I'm thinking a lil softer sway bar to get it to dump a lil more. But my gut feeling is the 10 degree spindle change will be what we are looking for as it was exactly the the same on high bite and loose conditions back to back days. I've been testing some piston oil combos as well and I'm liking teknos 8x1.4 fr with 600cst and 8x1.3 rr 525 cst. A lil more testing before I get a good solid setup, but definitely heading the right direction as of now

And to add, the eb48 has the 10 degree spindles which also helps it turn in so hard and aggressive, which is another reason I think that's what we need to do Eric:)

Seems to click. The SCT410 was born from the EB48, using a lot of the same parts.

Why couldn't a nitro SCT410 be born from the NB48?

I wish I had an NB48 so I could sit down and figure out how to get the SCT410 to work in nitro. I'm thinking just take an NB48 and put the front and rear SCT410 front and rear complete diff/tower/bumper assemblies on?....
