Could anyone tip me off as to how many millimeters of brake bias turnbuckle do I want exposed to achieve 40%f/60%r brake bias? What about 50%/50%?

And is it normal for the brake pads to have an indentation from the disc in them after their first race weekend?

How long do brake pads typically last?

Sorry for all of the nitro newbie questions. Thanks in advance for the help!

It's easier to hold full brake and adjust the bias so both front and rear feel the same (50/50) rather than measure mm. The measurement can change based on pad wear and other factors. The pads will wear in but should last a long time if the bias is set correctly. If you have too much front, for example, you will see accelerated wear on the front pads.

Ok, cool. I will try that method. Thanks for your help!

I'm going to buy a new kit very soon. Any idea when the kits will start shipping with the updated fuel tank included?

about to place a spare parts order from tekno... besides the gas tank any other things recommended, specifically parts that specific to the NB because i have tons of eb48 sppares like arms and such.

i would hold for another week or two until the tanks are ready

the only thing i have ever broken is the rear gear box mount where the brace screws into

never broken a arm or anything so dont go over board on parts until you see how you go

but yeh wait for new tanks to be safe i think

I use both of these in my buggy and truggy. Added some foam to prevent the batteries from bouncing around the battery box.

I am using this pack. http://promatchracing.com/proddetail.php?prod=2S2300SQ. I like it because it has a hard case.

Hey guys, I have found what I believe to be a really good starting setup for the NB48. I have tried the setup on extremely Loose / soft outdoor track and high bite indoor track. Simple droop and ride height adjustments seem to be key to fine tuning it to track conditions. I know that everyone drives different but for me this is the best the car has felt and i thought i would share.

That looks very similar to my setup. Rear motor helped a lot to cut down the on-power washout.
