Question, im going to be running the xp digital 1015 servos is that enough torque for the nitro buggy steering or should i go to a hw servo with a faster speed and more torque.

stock body is fine and takes a fair bit to make it spilt at all
i have been using mine every 2 weeks since i got this buggy way before christmas the FTW body i have ready to go as well is thicker for sure but the stock is fine    |
On some underhood pics i see rubberbands as return springs, in addition to 'regular' springs from the kit. Why someone decided to go with such 'tuning' option?

"throttle band" is there to pull the carb slide and linkage shut in the event of a power loss. |

Having some trouble getting my blue ofna box to work. Its been used before so the wheel is worn down to 74mm instead of what it is new (76mm). But I don't think that's the problem because the wheel is being stopped by the chassis and I would think a smaller wheel would fit up in the slot further and make contact with the flywheel easier? I definitely don't wont to grind out the slot/chassis to get it in there, but the flywheel seems really raised. What other starter boxes are guys having luck with?
I had to do what mr240 explained. Switched the brackets and drilled a new hole to close the top. You'll notice the pegs shifted to the left as well. I've also added rubber tubing to the front right peg to tighten the fit up. |

Thanks. Got it lined up and turning over now. But my rear pegs aren't on the box. Am I missing something there? Have to customize your own?

Does anybody run the Outerwears Performance Pre-Filter Air Filter Covers? If so, which size fits the NB48? Is it this one:

I have run the 1015 in the past and they are a good option. I don't think they are high volt servos however. I personally run KO servos at 7.4v now and will not run anything else.

Moral of the story...a call to Outerwear directly might be well worth it before you buy something you can't use. |

Looks sharp. Love the FTW bodies. Hoping they make one for the NB48 sometime.

All three diff cases have very-very tight fit into metal spur gears. Is it ok, anyone experienced same 'feature'? Should i grind some plastic with sandpaper?
