Maybe it was to late to get the top nod? Which would be odd if it got second..

The track near me Leisure Hours Raceway just had the Futaba electric race and I was told that the winner in 1/8 Ebuggy drove a Tekno with ease.

I found it funny that it beat the Losi 3.0 and the nb48 isnt even out yet! This was the NITRO awards

We've been using this one. Works good for forward engine config (preferred). Only issue is the motors burn out if you're using lipo. But you have to run it for a while before that happens. If you're not running it continuously, it works great.

Hmm that's a bit smaller then I thought with that box. Will it work on the normal ofna blue box as I know they don't burn out as I have had them for a while now and work great

Is the mounting the motor forward going to make it harder to fit some starter boxes?

Really hope this is out soon I am ready to build

Ok Time to bump this back up to page one guys.

Let's get talking about this buggy as I am pretty sure those hints that Danny gave us all for the EB 48 will work with this buggy too

Max bump steering and a few other little hints made my buggy great to drive

I will be building the NB 48 with the same set up to start with and go from there.

Who else can wait for this to be in our hands :D

Quick NB48 update:

We're finishing up the instructions and waiting for a couple parts to finish with production. We're getting pretty close, we don't do official dates, but we're shooting for late October / early November.

For anyone who hasn't seen it in action yet, it's been a real treat on the track. Very forgiving, stable, carries more corner speed than anything we've seen, jumps like a dream, accelerates well, etc. We're really happy with the box setup.

The queue starts here.

Thanks for the update Danny

Should we do the same changes with the bump steer on this buggy like we have done with the EB 48 ?

I am looking at getting the same set up to work on both as I don't believe there will be much weight difference so handling should be the same.

The box NB48 setup is already dialed this way!

Also, we'll put up presales on our site very soon.

If I drove nitro, I'd be all over this based on how awesome my EB48 has been.

Sta-bil 10-04-2013 10:49 AM

What body did you end up with? Is it still the ftw xray?

DBL15 10-04-2013 03:16 PM

Woohoo pre order done and paid for hehe

Starter box turned up yesterday. Two brand new ko propo servoes ready to go in as well super excited and can't wait

I am sure this will handle like my Tekno EB48 which is a dream to drive.

Can't wait for the email to say it's shipped :p :p :p

Good question about the body as long as it's forward cab I am happy
