Your right Pete there is great guys in this thread but that troll is not one of them mate
I have a couple of spare tanks I could try boiling one if you want how long are we talking about boiling it for ?
As I said though it's all in the front mount and drain hole pipe they need to be cut down and I have not had a problem since and I am only using a cable tie right now to hold the front and no issues at all

Just few thoughts about that tank issue: anyone tried to make front hole shape slightly oval? If tekno guys says that breakage comes during flat landings, seems that after all flexes and bounces top points of tank mounts have larger space between them than holes, but with oval shape and some bushings tank will have chance to survive.

Been running like that for months now as I broke the front tab off on the 1st run with a new tank after I spilt the bottom on my kit tank.
So in my mind it's all go to do with the mounting of the tank at the front as I have had no further issues at all.

Fellas,
I have been using the fuel tubing mounting mod and so far it seems bulletproof.
It's the same way I had to mount the tank on my Rc8t when I ran that.
I took about 3mm of fuel tubing with "double" O rings underneath the fuel tubing. You will need a little longer screw to mount it, and make sure you leave plenty of play.(Don't leave a gap between tubing, tank and screw, that'll be too much play)
My tank rubs the body a little being that it sits higher because of the tubing....
Can post pics.

a wee bit of tech advice is needed if possible,,,,,,,, right i have loads of grip but on the odd time i push the buggy past that and the grip drops to zero,,,,, now my question is what can i do if any thing too have a gentle drop off of grip so as least it is in control and not a wipe out, as i know i can push this buggy real hard but tend to not push 100% as i hate it dropping off the grip as quick as it does
any advice would be great advance thanks
