Tekno guys, do you have any plans about updating not only tank itself but it's part no. also? I think it gonna be useful for customers to avoid confusion during online ordering.

So seems there is only way to make sure - order updated tank.
Tekno is all over this, but if you gotta have a fix right now this would work.

ST-RR, the carbon fiber ring is a custom part. you could prob cut the same thing
out of an old B4 chassis as well. just a matter of finding a suitable material.

I've tried everything you have plus a lot more, but still no sevens on dice. Admittedly I don't bring it in after every landing to check, but nobody does during a heat, and there are no walls to hit at our track, and I don't bash with my race cars. I' like to see a pic or two of your track Andy, just to see if we are on the same page, or better yet a vid.

Anyway, Tekno says they are onto it and acknowledge there is an issue, so you'll be glad there is a fix when you do break a tank.

Pic of the latest break below
i have seen most of your tanks and i have noticed that you are always braking the front so just a though have a look at this pic of what i have done the my side pod,,,,, you will notice i have cut and rounded off the over flow hole which gives me loads of clearance might we worth looking into this, the side pod still holds on 100% but it gives the tank loads of space at the front also run the pipes the other way round as show in some of the other photos, and if you worried about over fill then you can always fit a bit of pipe the the bottom of your tank as this is what other brands have done

with that way i have cut the side pod and using the xray tank inserts i have done three full practice days and a full race day with out any problems with the tank, and it was on the practice days i stop after every crash and checked the tank, race day i checked after every heat and end of finals,,,,, as i do drive this hard, when i do crash it is a hard one, but with all the mods i have done all has been good, and the temp and not been over 5c at most on all the days of testing or racing, one practice it was sub zero first thing and still all was good

I would try boiling the tank posts first. Soften them up a little so they flex more.
