Changing the fuel line often is important. Any and all of them we have used over the years tend to soften and get limp over time, some sooner than others. Having the line submerged in fuel in the newer style tanks speeds up this process. I have actually seen the part of the line inside the tank collapse to the point no fuel could pass through it.

Tekno is signing quality drivers to strengthen and already solid foundation. Tekno is building it right, both whats put in the box and on the drivers stand.

Call me crazy but I really like the stock body. Doesn't look like anything else out there.

I have used both of these batteries and they both work very well. The Reedy is a little smaller and easier to fit in the box, with the LRP being a bit bigger with a tighter fit.

All the lipo humps are very similar and I've noticed the same performance from all brands I've had such as protek, lrp, reedy, trakpower and others. They may all have one but the LRP is hard case.

Graham, the LRP 2700 hump receiver pack I'm currently using is a soft case style.

Cool, thanks for the input fellas! :D

Next question would be, how much run time would I be looking at for say, a 2700mAh battery? Or, would this just be a good time for me to get a voltage checker?

SMC or protek will both work fine in my opinion. I have the SMC in my NT48 and protek in the NB48.

I use the protek electric switch which has visual queue of low voltage. Typically I can go an entire day (practice, 3 qual, 30 main) on one, but I don't push it and charge at least once for saftey.

It may "look" like a soft pack but if you look through the clear blue wrapping you'll see hard plastic case around the center portion. It's not a hard case in the traditional sense like a stock or shorty but it's better than no case.
