We got our new Tekno tools today. I was expecting them to be very nice but was extremely happy that they are even better than expected. These are the best tools I think I have seen to date. Thank you Tekno for raising the bar yet again.

I think it will for sure...no point to just leaving it to the sct.

Yea, Im sure we'll see something here shortly.. Lutz's car was decked out with little goodies all over the place, so Im sure there are about to hit the scene..
On a different note, can I get some insite to what the rest of you are running as far as clutch shoes, and spring tensions
Now, my knowledge with shoes is very minimal.. That being said, the harder 7075 shoes are for high(er) bite tracks? and 6061 are for more loose(r) tracks? Or do I have that backward?
Next, what is the differences/preferences between the 3 and 4 shoe configurations?
Lastly, spring tensions.. The thicker the spring, the more initial punch the car will have, right? But what are some or your inputs?

I know that these are very "personal preference" questions, but any help/tips are greatly appreciated..

Sorry if there is a thread explaining all this.. I just think that with todays options and new releases all over the place, some info that is a few years or even possibly months old could be a little "yesterdays" attitude..

Sorry thought you were referring to center rear drive shaft. First I've heard of rear driveshafts bending "often"

I guess, they can only bend if you have a crash from behind
or the droop is catching the outdrives

Hey Guys,

Now that outdoor racing season is around the corner I've received a few requests for rear skid plates. I am out of stock right now but I should have some available soon. I'll add a pre-order to my web site if you'd like to make sure you get one off this batch.

I still have a few sets of shock tools left. I don't plan on making any more. If you want a set please grab them now.

Thanks for all of your support over the last few years.

anyone tried an XB9 bittydesign body the nb48? I know the night fox was almost a direct fit but was wondering if this one would fit too?

Thanks

Would 166 oz torque be good enough for the throttle servo?

Probably enough, but its usually best to find something with 200 or more for braking power  I use the Savox 2274 servos and they work great!

ehames005 03-28-2015 11:27 PM

I have been running these in both steering and throttle brake and loe the performance.http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/protek-...k-130t/p228476

nmdesertracer 03-29-2015 07:12 PM

Ok heres what i got a Protek 130t for steering and AE 1015 for throttle. Both were salvaged from other vehicles. Now on the motor I got new the choices were between a OS 2101B ,Amain Protek Samurai or Werks B6 Pro. Had to talk myself out of the $400 dollars motors and get the werks b6 pro.

FastPete 03-29-2015 07:18 PM

I love my B6 Pro, fast, smooth, mileage.
