Thought for sure I was going to lose a front arm during the last race when I went a little too wide over a large table top and caught the left front tire/arm on the pipe. Forward momentum came to an abrupt halt and the buggy spun 2 or 3 times in the middle of the track before coming to rest. I was sure something was broke but I drove away without issue.

maybe try a little more kickup at the front, if its bouncing in the rough.

The bounce is the rebound from flat landing or close to. A heavier oil should mitigate that but it comes at the cost of being slower in rough sections. The "easy" fix is to land higher up on the jump but alas, I'm not good enough to do this every time. Somehow, I need to get more high speed damping without giving up low speed damping through the smaller, rough sections. I need bypass shocks :lol: I'll try adding some droop next time out and if that doesnt work (without hurting performance on the majority of the track) I'll start experimenting with 6 or 8 hole pistons up front.

I can suggest playing with droop and improving jump technique. AFAIR NB48 shock caps are vented, so here is room to play with non-vent and rebound. But practice first, you should land on front axle first with something about 30-50deg chassis angle

I've installed foams under the bladders to stop them collapsing under compression, I found it gives the shocks a firmer feel without going up in oil weight. Also kind of seals up the air vent in the cap, so might be worth a shot for you, easy an cheap.
Apart from that piston holes may be too big, or spring too hard?

I noticed in your setup 10 x 1.2 shock pistons versus stock 8 x 1.3. What difference do you see?

I believe he's using the "stock" black tree ones, not the additional kit parts.

They seem to be more forgiving over a wider variety of terrain.

I would increase the droop in the front. It will give you more stable landings at the cost of more on power rear traction. It less if a give and take than heavier oils

The 1.2s felt more consistant over a long run. All the testing I do,I do over a 20 minute run. Cause all changes can feel good 2 laps into it but fade the longer you run. I was pretty relentless on finding a good all around shock package. Probably wasted 60 bucks in shock oils! But the 1.3 I felt the weight transfer was to abrubt. The car would feel great on corner entry then all the weight would transfer at once and make the car do weird things. And the longer I ran the worse it got.
And yes the 1.2 are the stock black ones on the tree

Mo I have losi shock oils and diff oils from when I had a losi, I bought the mugen shock oils to try your set up but what diff oils are you using and how do they compare to the losi. I remember you felt that losi shock oil wasnt consistent

Bummer. Is that the stock bell? If so, you can email Tekno and they will help you out but this is the first I have seen of a stock Tekno bell breaking, I have broke other bells just like yours broke but not tekno.
