From what TJ was posting on FB Davide's car was all current parts except for the fast race caps/bladders.

Davide has MBX8 rear hubs. He also has Mugen springs for shocks absorbers.

I have a week old rc8b3.1 it feels like the spring on the gas tank door is weak. I am coming from TLR cars. Is the weak feeling spring normal and a non issue or should I switch it out and if so with what spring?

I used 2 collets that are used on the throttle linkages. I slid them on the ends of the springs and tightened them down. It increased the spring tension.

Fixing to build a Rc8b3.1 any tricks I need to know about? Already running avid steering plate, upgraded shock bodies , long chrome shock shafts with new 1.2 piston front and 1.3 rear, extended wing mount.... no shims in diffs... any thing else?

I'm in the process of building this car as my first nitro vehicle and I have a (possibly dumb) question:

How far do you thread in the throttle ball cup on the throttle linkage? Simply as far as it will go, or should it be a set distance?

I run it in until it stops, be careful if you go to far it will dent cup internally and will not go on engine
