I was able to fit a RC8B3 diff and pinion in a RC8…. you will need a new set of 4 bearings with smaller inner diameter for the gearbox/pinion and shim it properly to match the pinion to the diff gear (~1-2mm shim between the pinion and gearbox.

woops, just realized what you wrote. To answer your question, no there is not an rc8t3.2e thread. Only the original rc8t3 which I have read thru.. all those issues have been fixed. Also did you mean thicker chassis. M2C racing makes a 7075 chassis for the rc8t3.2e which is supposed to be stronger than stock. I believe it's still in stock on amain.

Hi All,
Looking to get into nitro buggy, probably with a 3.1/3.2. (if anyone has a roller cheap pm me ). My question is this. Most used rollers don't come with flywheel/clutch/endbell assembles. Will any mfg setups work? I realize tooth count may vary, but are there any other differences? Thanks for the help

But a shot in the dark...i would try and shave 1mm off the front of the rear arms, and add 1mm shim to the back of the arm. Shock package: front (3x1.4, 2x1.5) 40wt, rear (3x1.5, 2x1.6) 37.5wt. Stiff bladder at full rebound. Maybe add a bit more rear toe to help track straight
