Or better yet buy the M2C one and use the stock one on the bottom, just use longer bolts and dremel some of the stock one off so you miss the wires and the battery will never come loose. Here's a pic, I will take a better one when I take out the radio tray.

don't forget he also turned the ackerman plate around. Sorry if this was mentioned earlier

I think will be better I you leave the front end alone and work only with the rear.create rear traction without lose steering.

Yes, forward holes on Ackerman plate will calm down steering and make it less twitchy. This is just what worked for me because i am not the smoothest at the wheel. The x7 has steering to spare. I don't even think its capable of pushing lol.

Well, as many of you may recall, I was fighting a corner-exit no rear side-bite issue.

THis past weekend, I did some final testing before the track was groomed. That would be it's lowest grip condition. WIth these adjustments, the car was still a bit loose, but very drivable. When the track was groomed, the car was amazing! I could push it hard and it was just loose enough to allow me to sling it in the corners and nail the gas. The car would straighten itself out on power and accelerate very well.

To get this, I made three changes from stock: I went to 5,000 in the front diff, changed to a 2.7 rear sway bar, and (sorry guys) bought the aluminum hubs and set the rear arms into the lowest possible hole. I also added some M2C weights to the rear hubs, but I think I can remove those if track grip goes high.

Just wanted to share this with you guys. Generally, I like a very lazy car, and even this car can be calmed down quite a bit in low traction conditions.

Here are the bar charts on the spring measurements. If the spring has a "B" in the label, it is a black spring. The only Kyosho spring I own is the light blue rear spring. All other springs are Mugen.

The fronts include 2 75mm springs from the 6. The 9.75 is the black standard spring from the ECO. Forgot to put a "B" in the label.

It does sit forward but perhaps not as much as it did on the 6... I ran it without a hitch but I may dermal some of the chassis out

I don't use the Mugen bell... Just other common vented bells like hyper/ Caster/ PR etc

Started on my build of the X7, and took some pics of running changes that I found so far. Someone mentioned the new stock rear hubs with two holes. And a reinforced top plate. Not sure if they changed the ribbing underneath, so I took a photo of that too. Wonder how good it will hold up now.

We have been running the MBX7 for 5 months now. We have not broke a gas tank or a top plate yet.
