How much of a gap do you need on the brake pads? I look in the manual and didnt see anything specific.

Default Rear end traction

Raced this weekend and found myself fighting for turn-in/corner entry traction.
First, I moved camber link to outside hole on hub which didnt make much difference at all. The. I went from -3 rear camber to -1 which helped a little but was still not where I wanted it. I already have my steering travel turned down to about 80% and still worked well for the hairpin 180 turns. After races were over, I put +2 hex hubs on front and moved Ackerman position all the way forward with Ackerman plate reversed to numb initial steering. BIG difference. Rear end was much easier to control.

so are you saying that moving your steering links all the way forward calmed down your steering (less aggressive) im just trying to get an understanding of how the different hole settings in the ackerman arm affect the car. so it sounds to me like the forward holes calmed down the steering or am i wrong here. if you would explain how it affected the handling of your car to you. so would the steering be more responsive if steering links are moved to rear holes? you say it numbed the initial steering so i guess im lost right there thanks for anymore info about this

I have a qestion about spring rates.

When comparing to other brands, are the newton/meter rates consistent from brand to brand? So if a mugen spring and a kyosho spring both had the same n/m rating, would they be exactly the same stiffness? Or are there other factors?

Thanks

Im not sure how happy the engine will be after its peak rpm session but it still seems to be running fine... and its at about 40 liters (10.5 us gal)

I must say the MBX7 is dam awesome!!!, it was my first day running the car after coming from a 6 and I was as quick as and even quicker than guys I usually pull over for without even trying to drive hard... the corner speed and stability of this car is phenomenal!

This is a Proline Bulldog MBX6 body which fits very nicely... rear post hole is a little further back as is engine hole but it all fits neat... its very neat and tight around the side guards which I like as the X7 body/ car is a little wider
