I have seen chassis's go for awhile but when the screws dont sink right is a pretty good indicator. On the losi 8 buggy and truggy if the gearbox starts to stick out lower than the chassis thats another good indicator. I would say an avg chassis will go for 6-10 months of racing 3x per month or so. It all depends on how you treat it.

I've been running my proto one, I've got about 4 hours total run time on it, and the thing doesnt even look like it is worn, (anno is gone though) Droop screws look great compared to the losi ones.

it feels much more predictable. slides into corners were much more steady and the ability to hold some extra power through the turns is awsome

everyone should have one of these

i played some more with the chassis during the week and have made a small change to my setup

i have added 1mm to the stock ride height front and rear to accomidate for the change in thickness of the chassis. i never thought of it at first but ut did make a difference

i also tryed running it without the top screw in the rear chassis brace. wasn't to my liking but it may be to others.
for me it gave me heaps of corner speed but limited corner traction. if the tail let go it let go in a big way

i also tryed a 2mm rear swaybar. it had much the same effect as removing the chassis brace

so in the end im still at my stock setup with the ride height change and the car is dialed
once again this chassis is insane. i cant believe how big a difference it has made to the predictability of the truggy

i cant wait for the buggy chassis to arrive

Got out to do a little testing and practice today with this new chassis. It is awsome it feels a lot smoother better in the corners and great in the bumps and rough track. The track was very blown out and dry dry dry. I like this chassis. I ran the stock roller setup with the exception of a 3-3 rear toe block and 32.5 oil in the front. Everything else was stock and it works. I modded my losi box by trimming the rear guide and it will still work for the buggy too. It's just a litle loose for the buggy. Overall I give the bce chassis an a+. Race day is comming up in a few weeks. It's a norcal points series final and I am leading the int truggy so far. I will se how it fairs there.

Tix and Frank
Thank you for the update guys, very glad things are going
well .we are starting to get a lot of positive feedback
regarding Both buggy and truggy.
there should be a lot more responses coming soon as quite a large
batch has been shipped out . If you guys get a chance send some
pics of your trucks over. we will be starting a gallery on the bcespeed
site

Ran my truck this weekend as a fully converted 2.0, All I have to say is that for only my 3rd time running a truggy, this thing is fast, with a couple more setup tweaks and adjustments, this thing will be unstopable. I could plow into sweeping corners so frick fast its unbeilievable the car stays on 4 wheels.
