what are good servos to use. my cousin just got a 8t 2.0 rtr and the sweet stock servos are really weak and failing.

Hitec 7940 throttle and 7950 steering. Or 7955 on both. End of story.;)

the bummer part is that the bearings still roll smooth, i put all new parts in there all but the case cause it looked good , i had a big race on the line started in first place so i put all new parts so something like this didnt happen and it did. a guy at my local hobbie shop said it happen to him cuple times and he put some super glue on it never happend again

I am usingthe Savox 1268 servos on both steering and throttle in my 6t. I think the Savox servos will be at home in the Losi as they are much lower profile and will never hit the bottom like other taller brands. I have been running these since nov in the truggy and I'm happy with them. Also great specs for the price and they will take lipo without a reg.

After much testing by Barry pettit and Josh holifield we have come up with a piston that gives about the same pack on the compression stroke (UP) and super quick decompression stroke(down) that helps the vehicle settle much quicker after a jump or rough track. Piston holes are drilled to 1.2 dia. After much testing by Barry pettit and Josh holifield we have come up with a piston that gives about the same pack on the compression stroke (UP) as stock and super quick decompression stroke(down) that helps the vehicle settle much quicker after a jump or rough track. The case can look fine but still need replaced. If the inside bearing comes out when you push the pinion out, replace the case.

Maybe grease up the bearings and make sure the ring and pinion stay greased. This can help reduce heat.

i need some suggestions for getting better steering from my vehicle, using hitec 7950 servo. the servo saver is tight ( getting kock to lock out of it) as of right now im wondering if i could possibly have completely way too much tow out, after comparing truggys sde by side with a fellow racer. his truggy has less tow out and seems to driv e wherever its aimed. my truggy on the otther hand seems to push really bad. its bad enought i need to use the brake alot more often thn id like to be

Check your brakes bias, you may have too much front brake, you do want it to lock up, In front or rear, about 60% rear, 40% front. Your idle may be to high also, or throttle not returning completely.

the idle is fine.the front brake seems ok. i think the problems is on power steering. i adjusted it to have less droop, that didnt work so i put it back. ive lower the front, raise the rear, put diff shock oil. i havent tried different weight diff oil. i dont kmow ,uch about it. i havent tried diff camber\caster\tow
