what are good servos to use. my cousin just got a 8t 2.0 rtr and the sweet stock servos are really weak and failing.

Hitec 7955TG on steering, Savox 1267MG on throttle. That's what I use and love it

Hitec 7940 throttle and 7950 steering. Or 7955 on both. End of story.;)

Hitec 7955tg for steering these things are bullet proof and I just put on a Savox 1258tg for throttle just to try it out, everyone's raving about them although it's not as strong but its much faster. :cool: Hope it'll be as reliable as the Hitec. :sweat::sweat::sweat:

The case can look fine but still need replaced. If the inside bearing comes out when you push the pinion out, replace the case.

A lipo receiver battery, Byron Fuel and never look back

I am usingthe Savox 1268 servos on both steering and throttle in my 6t. I think the Savox servos will be at home in the Losi as they are much lower profile and will never hit the bottom like other taller brands. I have been running these since nov in the truggy and I'm happy with them. Also great specs for the price and they will take lipo without a reg.

ya, i guess im gona have too... it just bums ya out when you have to lose a race like that. i need to find me some losi sponser (hint hint, if any losi sponser are reading) cuple buddies of mine say i over maintance my buggy/truggy but apparentaly i dont after this one. thanx for the reply bud

ya, im gona have to put more grease in there, i was thinking the grease would help keep it cool in the , heck i change the diff fluides every cuple runs , im so hooked on this hobby i dont let any maintance go with out i stay on top of my stuff weekly. i have to, when you have your own track you practice alot on so you work on it more. thanx bud

i need some suggestions for getting better steering from my vehicle, using hitec 7950 servo. the servo saver is tight ( getting kock to lock out of it) as of right now im wondering if i could possibly have completely way too much tow out, after comparing truggys sde by side with a fellow racer. his truggy has less tow out and seems to driv e wherever its aimed. my truggy on the otther hand seems to push really bad. its bad enought i need to use the brake alot more often thn id like to be

Check your brakes bias, you may have too much front brake, you do want it to lock up, In front or rear, about 60% rear, 40% front. Your idle may be to high also, or throttle not returning completely.

the idle is fine.the front brake seems ok. i think the problems is on power steering. i adjusted it to have less droop, that didnt work so i put it back. ive lower the front, raise the rear, put diff shock oil. i havent tried different weight diff oil. i dont kmow ,uch about it. i havent tried diff camber\caster\tow
