if you are running 2 blue shoes and 2 silver, run the gold springs on the silver and the green springs on blue.;)

Dark grey shoes? Probably dynamite max life? Those are pretty good shoes. My favorite shoes for the losi clutch are the KHZ ones. 7075 hard or 6061 soft depending on what you are looking for. The gold/green setup is nice n' smooth.

Thank you for the replies.
I will try 7/7/2 on a tight track where there is a fair bit of stop and go style of driving. |

Use some plyers and feebly in the middle and move it back and forth as you twist it. This is why I like to let the pins rotate in the pin brace. If they become stuck in the middle of a main your handling will suck. If all else fails use a hammer and move it from end to end. I have had them get stuck until I started using an arm reamer.
Thanks again! |

quick question, do you guys use the rubber gromets to mount steering servo?

I used to just change my shoes every big race, about once or twice a month. I did always tear down the clutch every weekend and dremel down any mushrooming.
