I run 5/10/2 on my E 2.0 and I love it! It is on a smaller tight course though.

Dark grey shoes? Probably dynamite max life? Those are pretty good shoes. My favorite shoes for the losi clutch are the KHZ ones. 7075 hard or 6061 soft depending on what you are looking for. The gold/green setup is nice n' smooth.

Thank you for the replies.
I will try 7/7/2 on a tight track where there is a fair bit of stop and go style of driving.

Whew glad you are building a new clutch. You are single handedly putting closed signs up in RC shops all over the country with 6 gallons. Hahaha. J/K

If they become stuck in the middle of a main your handling will suck. If all else fails use a hammer and move it from end to end. I have had them get stuck until I started using an arm reamer.

I installed the alu hubs last night. I used a small hammer. It was pretty easy after all. Thanks for the assist guys! Next up - aluminum rear diff inserts!

Thanks again!

I used to just change my shoes every big race, about once or twice a month. I did always tear down the clutch every weekend and dremel down any mushrooming.
