No...not really. Most of us tear them down as soon as we get them or at least after the first race meet:nod:. Not to mention all the maintenance tear downs...I feel like I have built a thousand losi's and I'm not missing out on aynthing new!!:)

is the 8T coming with pre-cut bodies? I hope not, I am thinking of getting one and i will convert it to electric. i do not need the engine nor gas tank holes.

by the looks of it on the losi page it doesn't come precut

i hope the new body is as thick as the old body. The 8T1 body was bullet proof and so id the new 8 2.0.
id be pissed off if the new body is flimsy and breaks easy

You may have to call and speak with John or I think Drew but I got mine for $589 on a pre-order special.

Jeez, I didn't check my email but I had a $30 coupon. I guess I can't use it since I already madee the transaction:mad:

no i havent ordered it yet am im glad i waited, looks like im going to save $30 more:nod: Young arron your on the right track to have fun in this sport. Alot of the time when people first get into racing they buy the cheapest buggy or truggy and do nothing but work on it all day at the track. I ran my old losi 1.0 buggy last race weekend and the only work i had to do was change the tires.

The ones sold seperately will probably not be cut, but the ones that come with the roller are pre cut. I believe it is the same way with the 8B 2.0 lids.

I wouldn't be too sure about that, I bought a 2.0 shell when they first became available and it too was precut already.

Oh, well all I know is that the ones that come with the rollers are pre cut. other than that idk. it appears from the picture that the seperate truggy ones aren't cut. but they might actually be cut. I don't see why they wouldn't be cut actually. like the 1.0 bodies. Makes it much easier. And why would they cut some and not others.

Release date

Ohh well the release date got pushed back to Feb. 5th. Have to wait another 2 weeks. Now don’t say anything and maybe that date will stick. I hope so cause I sold my 8T for the 2.0 and next week I will be without my losi... Well see.

The promo kit comes with a free set of the new non offset rims.
I don't think the release date was pushed back, I think they sold out of their first batch. My LHS showed it as in stock and should get mine next week, but i'm not holding my breath.
