The promo kit comes with a free set of the new non offset rims.
I don't think the release date was pushed back, I think they sold out of their first batch. My LHS showed it as in stock and should get mine next week, but i'm not holding my breath. |
I really hope they are not being pushed back.
I needed mine landed in Australia by the 5th of Feb |

Frank, just curious where you heard that at? Horizon still shows 1/29 on the truck/wheel promo kits.
Thanks man! |
It is offered to the hobby shops and they can do what they want with them(wheels) give them away or sell them.

No but seriously I think the losi truggy(refering to the 1.0) is a great truck. It has tons of steering and handles like a buggy in that manner. It is very light so it accellerates well and jumps very well. I personally think it is as durable as any other on the market. As far as the 2.0 I'm sure it will be great. With the 14mm extension it will be very stable and forgiving. |
with the chassis and arms being extended for the 2.0, do you guys think the steering will still be there?

Here's a reply posted on the grid by Kendall bennet from Amain. It is about the Preorder system.
------------------------------------------------------------------------- I double checked the ETA on these, and they got pushed out until the first week in Feb. So the ETA has been updated on our web site. With the pre-order system, basically you are putting a hold on an item that you would like to purchase, but you don't pay for it until it arrives in stock. Once the items arrive in stock, you will get an email letting you know, and you have 7 days to purchase it. If you don't purchase within 7 days, the item will go back to general stock for anyone to purchase. Also note that the pre-order price is just an estimate of what the price will be when the product arrives, and it may change when it actually arrives. The price will always be in your favor though. If for some reason the price goes up when the product arrives (unusual, but it has happened), you will always pay the pre-order price that was listed when you put the item onto back order. If the price goes down when it arrives (or before it arrives), you only pay the current price at the point when you actually purchase the product. So no matter what, you always get the lowest price possible when buying pre-order products, so don't worry about the price changing. That is one reason we don't make customers pay for the product before it arrives, as people get upset if they paid a higher price and the price goes down when the product actually arrives :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ I think it explains a lot |
