for your clutch in truggy....motor will really say what spring's you need...and for buggy i would Always leave a pair of composite's in....you really dont need the excessive wheel spin that 4 alum shoes will offer over 2.....and the composite's help lube the clutch and keep everything lasting just that much longer....i would Never spring up the composite's higher then green and unlees you absolutely HAVE to i would stick to gold on the alum shoes....silver springs eat shoes for breakfast...they are imo too stiff for most any race .21

Thanks Integra!
For my 2.0 truggy I'm currently using a Jammin JPX .28 but I just ordered a Werks B7 .21 08 spec from Amain this morning.

What would you recommend for both of those?

Thanks for your help...greatly appreciated!

wowzer's i hope you geared your truggy accordingly to match the .28........either way.....is the werks to replace the JPX ? if so they will require different clutching....for the .28 you need the Hardest shoes you can get....IE 7075 either KH or M2C and you need the lightest spring's......28's make up for any clutch bog with sheer low end power...so running all 4 alum shoes on black's or even green's would be just fine....i personally run a M2C clutch in truggy as i find the losi is more suited to buggy.....PM me with more Q's

na cody, im not just leaving the wd 40 in the bearing, dirt would be filled in the bearing. i clean the car then spray wd 40 over it to give that new look and i spray the bearings as well. then i use a air compressor and spray out the bearings and spray off the car as well.

That will remove any grease and oil from the bearings. No lubrication = bearing failure.

I do this same thing but I dont blow the bearings out I leave them as they are with wd40 in them and so far my stock bearings are tight on mine. This is how I have done every R/C i have had for the last few years and not a problem. They wear out over time but beyond that no problems!

Integra-what m2c setup are you using on your truck. Do you use the m2c flywheel also or just the shoes. I have been using mitchs stuff for going on 2 years now and love it. Currently I have losi wheel with reg med shoes 2 green/2 gold. I am running grp 21's, was thinking of trying 4 gold springs to get just a bit more punch.
Thanks
Jason

i dont think i get 100% of the wd40 out which will still lube the bearings, so far the only bearing to fail were the stock 8t 2.0 rear hubs which lasted 1 race. so i didnt even touch them

I have the adjustable Front and Rear hinge pin braces....but reading your post above...how would I get to true 3/3 set up on rear? Also, what is the set up for the front to mimic the stock trucks set up?

zero's up front should give you the stock anti .....and you cant run a 100% 3/3 rear...you have to settle for either higher or lower...i run lower till i feel the need for more. ..but when guys are refering to the 3/3 rear end they would be saying go with the 3.80 toe and 3.14 anti

Thanks man...you're fast! I just got my 8T 2.0 the other day and I'm in the process of going through everything and also taking the upgrades off my 8T 1.0 and putting them on.

Another question: I see people mention using longer screw on wing mount and upper camber links. The camber link was obvious and I took care of that but I'm a little confused on exactly which screw(s) is the issue on the wing mount????
