maybe its because they dont stick outof the body as much not sure , i guess it could have something to do with the length of the cable tie ?

The issue is the 2.0 stock body being so short and slanted in the front. When upside down there is no place for the zip tie to hide. Just using the flat tie works the best but is not 100%. The JConcepts body has a better area for the tie to hide and not get pulled on the dirt.

Thanks for the shim help. I understand I need some good slop. Perhaps my bearing seats got a tiny bit deeper when I had them bored out for the bigger outer bearings.

I haven't had an issue with the fuel thing. Running a zip tie with short(about 1/2 inch) piece of tubing on the end. I als enlarged the hole in the body quite a bit. I have noticed fuel inside the body, but have yet to run out of fuel early, so I figure it's just from a messy pit. I always check my fuel level in the tank after a run, and it has always been constant even if there is fuel on the inside of the body. I may look into the fuel tank pulls. I know the buggy ones look awesome.

This past weekend I swapped out my wheel hubs with some buggy hubs a bud had think they were cen and it made a HUGE difference-i'm talking about the part that the wheel nuts screws onto. It seems they have a ton of slack even more than the 1.0

Well, I just got done tinkering. I went to the camber link setup posted by Casey Peck a few pages back. I also went to the 2.0mm sway bar. Instead of cutting the stock rear links to work, I ordered a set of front links, which are the perfect length. I haven't run it yet, so I have no idea what the results of the changes are, but I wanted to get it out there that you can use front links without cutting to get the correct length. I figure most guys want to have a standard and short set on hand anyway(I do), so it works out perfectly. I used the rod ends included in the front link kit because I don't have any rear outer ends on hand, so we will see how that works out. I really don't know why there is a dog leg in those links anyway, as they don't even come close to rubbing without it. It may have been for the buggy. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know.

Here is a link to the links I used...

I haven't run them yet personally, but have heard awesome reviews on them. Some of the guys at my track have run them with great results.

Thanks i am going to try them this weekend. I have liked the losi HD bearings so far, been on the same bearings for 3 months (racing 2-3x per month). I always like to try something new.

ive ran them....the 5x13's are pretty stout...they last a LOT longer then 98% of other bearing's ive tried.....were you the one who backorder'd them off A-main Frank ? 4 of those were supposed to be mine.

the 5x10's seemed to be on par with my 10$ a pop Full compliment Boca ceramics....but didn't last AS long.

Boca Bearings ceramic full compliment 5x10 are awesome! Im not just saying that because Im a driver for them. I have a set that have been thru at least three gallons in my buggy and I had a set in my truggy that even lasted thru a clutchbell that got shredded from a rock or chassis flex. They are worth their weight in gold!!

Hey Matt

I have 10 pairs of those TKO's if your wanting some for the nationals. I personally haven't tried them out yet as I get good mileage out of $1 throw away ones. I mainly got these tko's for super big events such as the Australian truggy nationals.

Good question though about what you repack them with.
I have white lithium grease here, Would that work????
