Hey Folks, im not feeling losi in regards of tech support. i called losi tech support SEVERAL times and left messages. i received no call backs. finally, i got a hold to, i guess his name is, bob. i told him about the bearing situation and he said give him the part number and address and he will send them to me. but he did not give me a form to fill out or an email address to send my data. so i had to ask him, how do i provide this information to him and i ask should i just leave a message on the same line i have left plenty of messages and never received a response. He says yes. so i called him back yesterday and of course no answer. so i left him the part numbers and address. im sure i most likely won't receive anything in the mail. first, it's very difficult to provide my address via voice message. but we will see. im not holding my breath tho.

I had the opposite experience. I called about the shock ends. They took my address and 3 days later the parts were at my shop. I called later at night, maybe that will help.

Yeah, I'll be there. A buddy and I were signed up to race at Finishline last weekend, but mother-nature took care of that one. We're gonna try to run the majority of the LARCC series this year.

I was there also, its my home track about 10 minutes away. I ran all day that friday and was loving the truck. Was you there are decided not to come because of the weather?

No, we didn't come down. It's 300 miles, one way, so we just watched the weather and made the obvious choice on not driving down. We went to IndyRC instead since it's indoor.

LOSI TECH SUPPORT? Never heard of it.... I bought an 8ight back in January and it came with 3 front dogbones and no front center dogbone. I e-mailed and never heard from them, I called with no answer and left a voicemail with my name, number and address. Still haven't heard from them... I've been running Losi since 1993 and have always loved their products, but it seems like since Gil Jr left, they are trying to become the #2 RTR company (can't touch Traxxas). I wonder why they have 2 technical support divisions, RTR and Race?

Left Losi several voicemails three weeks ago asking for shock ends. Got them yesterday. Never did hear from them, just got the parts.

In the meanwhile I gave Horizons a call and some emails about the same shockends. I had to get a little gruff in my last email but it worked. They too sent some that arrived the same day. I should be set for awhile on them.

Like Integra said, who are ya calling? All my calls have been to horizon service abt the things i needed for my 8t 2.0 and i leave my number when promted on their recording and within a short while someone calls me back. I've gotten everything i requested no questions asked. Some stuff still on backorder though. Even got free starter box motors.

i called the teamlosi contact # for racing kits. press 2 to get to bill or bob, what ever his name it. out of about 15 calls, he picked up once. there is no, what are you doing wrong. you just simple call the number provided on the site. it's simple. it's what team losi is doing wrong.

You need to call horizon hobbies.

Zapped 04-23-2009 01:02 PM

I called the number for Losi's Race kits off of www.losi.com. http://www.losi.com/Support/

I guess I need to call Horizon next time, I forgot there is no Losi at www.losi.com anymore... :weird:
