Build is going awesome so far. Similar to 1/10 TC but larger and actually going much faster. Could not start last night as I had to spend some time with the girlfriend. Finally got out of bed at 6:00am this morning after not sleeping for 2 hours to get started on it. Stopped for a while to drop and pickup kids for events and back on it now.

Trying to find a way to politely ask the girlfriend to stop cleaning the house and start taping off the body and painting.

Danny,

It sure sounds to me like you are trying to get it ready to run at Loganville tomorrow????

Maybe we will see you there.

Good luck with the build.

The tower on the tki3 is just thicker than the tki2. The hole are all the same.

Sorry Lee obviously not making it to Loganville today. Starting the shocks now which is the last step. Stayed up till midnight last night building with breaks through out the day. Just came on to verify which oil in front and back. My girlfriend has not started the body yet. She has been busy and today been busy making food for the Falcons football game. Hopefully she will get on it during the game.

She my girlfriend paints all my bodies and enjoys doing it. I am pretty damn lucky she likes to come out and participate in my hobby.

So build went very well. Happy with the results and of course I can't wait to start breaking the motor in. Thought I could try and use some RTR Kyosho servos until the correct ones make it here but not looking good. They won't center and slow to move and just crazy. Appears the only issue I have is a click/stop when turning the wheels like a tooth in one gear is not completely correct. So got to start troubleshooting.

And proof Iris is working on my body

Oh don't get it twisted. These are to just break in the motor while waiting for my KO30103's to show up.

I know she is so shinny. Going to hate that first night we return home after racing.

The first time i set a brand new buggy on pit lanes wall where the chassis is sitting on it is the worst. Scratches on my new buggy.! After the first tank and some cart wheels later im better.
