I can either get the following

12deg caster blocks with 5* inclines

12 deg caster blocks with new rear hubs that have adjustable washers?

Please state your reasoning thanks. Im kinda leaning towards the first one.
Why all the crazy changes? Why not just change to a stiffer front spring? Your changing a lot of little things that have a minor impact to make a big change. Why not change one thing that has a larger impact? Tires and springs are the easiest things to change and have the largest impact

The 12 degree blocks and the 5 degree inclined knuckles will make a more dramatic change in how the buggy drives and handles. The rear uprights will change the way the car feels but only if you use the optional roll center adjustments. I have the option rear uprights installed to still have the same roll center and camber link length as the plastic pieces.

I was thinking like you, I would try changing the front shock oil 5 wt thicker, or going to a smaller hole piston.....Or even use a softer spring on the rear or lighter oil....or both

For example, you could leave the front silver spring on it and try the grey rear ones...or increase rear toe in or check the front and make sure the front tires are parallel (0) instead of toed out.....

Hi there.

One other benefit with the alu thing are, you can use 8x16 bearings instead of 8x14. The small ones dosn't last as long as the bigger ones

Once you find that your buggy is in working order, one thing you might want to try instead of making all of those changes is adjusting the expo on your radio. You can smooth out your initial steering so its not so sensitive. I have my expo set for around 30%. Also, if you set your front toe to zero, it will reduce the amount of initial turn in, but it might also be a little twitchy at high speed. Some toe out helps stabilize the buggy at high speed. Just remember if you change something, its going to give one thing, but it's also going to take something away some place else.

I didn't have any problems with the wheel fitting in the hole. It is tight so alignment is crucial. If its a new wheel you may have to shave it a little with a hobby knife. I had to move the wheel over to the holes that put it closer to the middle of the box.

edit; also loosen the screws from the bottom of the box and and twist the wheel in the direction of the flywheel hole. That may be what your problem is.

Default mugen purple box works great

Just FYI, I have the purple mugen box and it starts both my 2010 and 2011 808. I simply lined it up to start my 2011 (had no motor in the car to make sure I had it perfect), and it will start the 10spec without issue. As others had said, flywheel trimming may be necessary if the wheel is new.
