Guys, the setup I ran this weekend was basically Jason Branham's and Leon Mcintosh's setup combined. So a lot of credit goes out to them for the setup, I just raced it!

This is a conversation I had direct with Martin hudy....the Silver Xray springs are very similiar to the Kyosho Green/neon green springs that josh runs.

Good job this last week cade!

Hey Matt, that seems like heavy oil in the rears - especially combined with the blue/grey springs.

I am running 32.5 wt in the rear with the front silver springs. Mounting points are the same as Cades - rear shocks are on the inner holes on the arms and the lower middle holes on the tower. I wouldn't normally run the lower holes on the tower unless the shocks were in the outer arm holes, but it works very nicely this way when using the front springs on the rear - plus you get some added droop. Buggy jumps beauty with this set up and is very settled around the track. Front is normal - upper middle holes on tower and inner holes on arms.
FRONT - 40wt, 1.2 x 8, 25%, silver springs
REAR - 32.5wt, 1.1 x 10, 25%, silver front springs
DIFFS - 5,5,2

I have been running 42.5 wt front and 35 wt rear, but it is winter here now and getting quite cold, so changed to slightly thinner oils and it works better.
May even go down another 2.5 wt in the rear when it gets colder, or switch back to 1.3 x 6 pistons.

Josh has been running the light blue shocks on the kyosho shocks. Not the neon greens. But if i was to guess id bet the blue springs are close to the light blue kyosho springs.

Leon what shock setup are you running? curious id like to try it some times... thanks

1.3 X 6 hole front and rear
35 wt oil Blue/Grey springs front

32 1/2 wt oil ****Blue/Grey front springs** Rear
middle hole on tower and inside hole on arm.

I switch between the silvers and Blue/grey springs on the rear and yes I use front springs on the rear of the with the regular length shock. and I also bounce back and forth with 32 1/2 and 30wt Losi oils in the rear depending on track conditions. You just have to use the bottom row of holes on the rear tower.
