It should be the same process you would use for the kyosho, are you useing a vented cap? (behind the bladder)

Care to elaborate as to why this is so?

I just did the experiment myself and you are correct. It is indeed different when the wheels are on compared to what the setup station says it should be ? But why is what i would like to know.

My Huddy camber gauge is showing 3deg of camber and its correct, the gauge is in fact leaning in on a 3deg angle. But as soon as you attach a wheel (in my case a brand new AKA Evo with wheel stiffener installed) it is showing 0deg ? That's a big difference. And i put a carpenters square up against the wheel and it is in fact at 0 or 90deg with the ground.

Why would the setup station be designed is such a way to give false readings ( well its not really false but its different to what the wheels are when installed on the car) ?

) ?

Because when wheels are mounted on our cars and on the ground they commit a outward pulling tension on the upper links, all the while pushing in on the lower arms.

The current crop of setup stations load the suspension in the complete opposite; push in on the upperlinks and pull on the lower arms. With the native sloppiness of an rc cars suspension this can mean a 1-3 degree different interpretation of a cars alignment.

When a car rounds a corner it is pulling on those upper links, never pushing in. So now you see why current setup stations have limited value. I gave up on my hudy station long ago after seeing this problem and developed one that addresses it. You hear that Joey? You and your multitude of vertical machining centers you.

the right side upper arm looks like its screwed in more than the left, but tbh theres more going on set up wise than toe and camber best post a full set up to get more feed back plus of course what you want it to do or whats its not doing on the track
