only way I will use the washer is if you have a smaller washer behind it. Last time I use that washer it rubbed on the front engine bearing causing it to leak.

someone please help me. I am at my wits end, and really need some help. here it is.

after i finished putting my car back together the other day, i noticed that the outdrive and bearing had play inside the bulkhead. So, i took it off the car, tore the bulkhead back down and noticed the out drive cup had play where it goes in the conical gear. the outdrive is not that old (bout 6 gallons) but i replaced it anyway. tried a few different outdrives till one worked and Put the diff back together, and the diff was solid. Tried a few different bulkheads(been trouble shooting for a couple hours now getting more and more frustrated), and finally found one that worked. it diff was perfect. no play inside the bulkhead, and just the right amount of play on the pinion. Put my whole rear end back together, and the darn thing wont line up on the chassis!!! I have just put m2c toeblock systems on there front and back, this did not happen last time i put my buggy togeter. So, i kept screwing it down pretty hard till the tabs in the suspension plated finally poped in place.

YAAAYYYY!!! Finally i am done. Went to check the play in my outdrives and it was BACK! I am coming to the conclusion that the m2c suspension plates don't fit excactly right, or my chassis is messed up (doubt it's my chassis). I don't know what the problem is, and i am really hoping this has happened to one of you and can help me, because i have no more hair on my head to pull out!

do i need to grind the tabs on my suspension plates?

it also might be worth noteing that tony does not have the correct length for those screws (the really long ones that go in the bottom of the bulkhead) and i had to go 2mm longer. I could have gone 2mm shorter but chose the longer ones. He actually does not have the exact length on a few screws needed for the car. And amain does not cary those either.

Hey guys debating between the mugen mbx6 M spec and the Xray XB808 10 edition. I know I am in a Mugen page but can some of you guys tell me which way to go. I have been reading the Xray has bearing problems. I also read the Mugen has chassis problems. Any advise. Thanks

i love my mugen. The chassis does have a bit of flex, but to be honest the reason why mine is bending is because this is my first car and i am not that good of a driver. I am much better don't get me wrong. But know how to land and how to hit your jumps just right on the downside is key. I put a extended motor mount on it and it pretty much fixed it. which brings me to my question.

I am getting my bce chassis this week and would like to know if i can use my extended motor mount on it. Or would it take away to much flex? I don't want to buy another mount. I love the one piece mount.

i just recently looked through the whole instruction manual of the 808. Both cars are just about identical. And the quality of the parts are equal from what i can tell. What it comes down to i guess is if you prefer pillow ball suspension or c hub suspension. I only know pbs so i cannot comment, but i love it and it is very easy to make adjustments/work on is tough as nails and you will have to wait forever to see any slop in the hubs.

the mugen is about 100$ cheaper and comes with wheels, tires and body wrap.

it's a no brainer!!

Yes all the X6 series come with the bolt/nut type hinge pins. I do not think there is one e clip on the entire car.
