I am having issues in my buggy with wheel spin out of corners. I have tried all the usual supects that I know to reduce this. Expo, geared up to 14t bell, fattened the bottom on my motor and a couple other things. I am wondering if I went to 15/46 gearing would it hurt anything? I do have a heavy finger and im working on that but for now gotta find a way to stop it.

mrbusta, long as making the cars wheel base as long as possible, the back arms spaced back and ft arm spaced forward.

14 is already a big step up. I can't imagine using a 15 IMO.

Thinking of going with the Mspec for this spring. Any of u that have this buggy what changes have u made on it, as far as setup and hop up parts. Also which starter boxes is everyone using? Would like to match this buggy with a B5, it seems to be a great motor for 199.

You could have to much rear droop or your droop is not even all the way around. I was having the same prob at ET down the long 120 ft straight with a 90 at the end, it would want to spin to one side. This was because my droop screws were not hitting the chassis good and my droop was inconsistent at all 4 corners. Thanks to Donrod it was a simple fix, MBX-6 or RC8T droop screws now my droop is the same at all 4 corners and it stops and jumps straight.

The kit is good out of the box. There are some good set-ups in this very thread. Everyone will tell you get the Offna chrome top starter box but I can tell you for sure the Mugen box is better. Many will say I'm wrong but normally when you ask them they have never tried it. Before everyone jumps on me about the Box here is why:

*Its smaller
*its lighter
*it spins faster so you don't need to hold your car on it as long which makes the battery last better.

The guy I sold it to will tell you the same thing & we both have owned the chrome top as well.

My $0.02 worth

got the king headz brass bushing set. I thought they would be better, but they have alot of play in them. Something a million clips wont solve. Waste of money.

Oh, and they are hard as hell to get in.

I guess it will be fun trying to get them out.

you could use the chrome top box to stand on - on the stand. you could kill a puma if it was charging after you, if you had a gell cell in it you could use it on the playground to balance a see-saw and ride without fear, unlike when your buddy jumps off and you break your azz.
