hi mate, according to tony screws who i trust, the aluminium hub is not advisable since it does not allow flexibility during landings. the rear bearing a slim and there is high failure rates

I use the rear AL hubs. The car seemed more consistent with them. It will take flex out of the rear end that the plastic hubs have for sure. I haven't gotten them for the MBX6T yet, but my MBX6 has had them since they came out last year and I never took them off. I don't have issues with them them at all.

Had my first race day with the car yesterday at a new track,

no practise with either the car or on the track and made the A main, car was superb so easy to drive and just felt right, only changes were

35 wgt oil in front shocks
30 wgt oil in rear shocks

5 5 2 in diffs

This car is a beast!!

Soften your shocks to 30f/27.5r or 27.5f/25r and you'll like it even more.

I think you'll like it. I felt even 32.5f/27.5r was too heavy but it was still 60f outside when I was running that so I may go back to it. This car is so lightweight that with the soft springs and anything over 27.5wt. the rebound is s-l-o-w which really messes with weight transfer.

I'm even tempted to try some 13mm Xray shocks I have laying around if only to save shock oil!
