I always use green slime or any good waterproof grease on my outdrives and orings and never had a problem with leaky diffs

wait, your telling me the mbx6 has the same problem as the 5 (i know they fixed that) but now the 6 is doing it? you would think they would have nipped this in the but, easy fix but its out of our pocket. Dont mind me, im still kicking two buggys around before i make up my mind on one. (MBx6/mp9)

Fixed what? The MBX6 S5 o-rings are exactly the same from the MBX5. They never changed anything.

With proper maintenance its fine, like most things on any car, if you dont maintain it and rebuild it regularly things start to break/leak/wear etc.

Use Tonys fatter o-rings if you are worried about it. http://www.tonysscrews.com/product.s...&productId=253

IMO the stock o-rings only leak when they are not lubed as decsribed in the instructions.

I broke a rear diff outdrive, it broke at the oil groove, I did have a runaway, and the car ran into a piece of wood, but nothing else was bent or broke, strange that the outdrive snapped. Any one heard of this before.
PS: I just built a completely new 6 with all the spares I have, I love Ebay.

Yes, I have heard of the outdrive snapping at the cross pin for the diff side gear inside the diff. Very rear, but can occur.
