Front ackerman setting seemed to smooth out the steering, less agressive initially, little less twitchy best way I know how to describe what it does

To measure rebound stop remove wheels and tires and set the buggy up on two rims

___________________ chassis
== ----------== rims

set the buggy on the edge of a flat surface where you can take a set of calipers and measure from the bottom of the rear hub to the flat surface and adjust the droop screws. Same with the front

______ bottom of hub
/\ 15mm

thats what I thought but was not 100% sure. thanks for clearing that up! I have recieved several pm's with set-up info and appreciate it very much guys thanks for the advice on this car! if the rear end was not so aggressive I would be in love lol but its a toss up on my rc8 that car just drove great. I will give the mbx6 a few weekends and see what happends. I mean set-up is 90% of how a car drives. again thanks to the guys that have take a min to help me out!

is there anywhere to print off blank set-up sheets for this car?

First time out with the car I wasn't that excited. Same loose condition, but thankfully ashton posted his setup and made those changes and its strapped so I hope it works out for you.

Mine did that too.

Is it just me or is anyone else peeved who bought the kit when it first came out, what about 3 months ago, and now the new kit has so many different parts and changes that I have to buy. I'm a huge fan of the 5R but it's hard to keep up with a car that changes every 3 months.

I hear you, I am so pissed off because everyone knows that you need the latest and greatest parts to finish a lap let alone be quicker... and its not like the new parts even bolt straight onto your car.

I would much rather Mugen not update and improve the buggy, at least this way I wont have to keep up with the Jones's.

Stiffer springs make the car feel more responsive, more direct.
They also help the car jump a little better and higher.
Stiff springs are suited for high-traction tracks, which aren't too bumpy.

Softer springs are better for (mildly) bumpy tracks.
They can also make the car feel as if it has a little more traction in low-grip conditions.

the 6 skips out in the rear at times, so by adding softer springs will tame it down a bit. but you dont want to go too soft.

I am one of those people who have been running everything bone stock. I may have brought different springs and extra parts, but i have yet to sport any of the running changes.

You dont NEED any of the running changes, the only piece you really need is the front upper arm piece. besides that its dialed.

I also upgraded to the aluminum option parts, but they arent needed as well.

the newer kits will have everything in the box as is, which is a good thing. with other kits, the manufacturers wont make any running changes, so after you buy the kit, then you will have to spend a grip on upgrades. with this kit, you are dialed either way, but more inviting to the new customer, as he or she wont have to worry about upgrades, as the kit will already have them included.

actually, that is a problem i am having with the 6. the rear kids a little too much for me. i tried extending the wheel base and adjusting some steering expo in my controller. it helped a little. will softer springs help? but i run on a bumpy track.
