The fix is to use longer screws on the bottom of the tower an put a nut on the end. I used some long mugen screws with savox servo loc nuts on the end and it even feels better now when you flex it by itself
HI, I did as you have and removed some plastic to make room for a nut, unfortunately removing that material lead to the case breaking exactly where the material was removed. i gotta stop crashing....

The car must be in the station without wheel under the chassis. And be sure that when you check your front camber the specific wheel is at zero toe.

Hello folks.. I might be getting a used MBX6R EU here soon...(yep - another one doing that, now that the 7 is out ha ha..) I've only ever run AE (and one Hyper..) - just sold my RC8.2. Is the MBX6R EU a good all-round buggy, that I can run in various conditions with a basic set-up? I don't race that much or seriously - I just want something neutral and solid, mostly for fun running on tracks with other like-minded types(competitive, just not organized...) and the occasional race..

What parts are good to have on hand?

Also, do I have to worry about the header fitting, as I've sometimes read about in connection with Mugens? Thanks..

Hi All!

I just purchased a used MBX6R. Once I get the car, my plan is to tear it down, and re-build it so I can learn the ins and outs of how the car goes together.

My question is for you seasoned 6R racers... is there anything I should do differently than the instructions state; any setup tips or advice I should follow when re-building the car?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Rob

A set of front arms is always good to have. Before I bought a short pipe, I just used some of that aluminum duct tape on the inside of my body to keep it from burning, that should help some.

I have a whole ton of engines and pipes - I really don't want to have to buy new headers.

I assume I already need to buy a bunch of new clutch-bells.. All mine are 16T and 17T..

At the moment the supposed buyer for my RC8.2 has disappeared, so maybe I won't be joining the Mugen club just yet anyway..

Also - what are the exact differences (and advantages or disadvantages) of the EU version of the MBX6R? I'm operating on the assumption that the MBX6R EU is what I want.

Will most big bore springs fit? And what sway bars are best for an all-around type of set-up? Thanks..

I have a Mspec. I am unable to remove the screws holding the servo saver, both top and bottom even with good force. Are the thread locked from factory? Don't think as per manual. I already stripped one screw on the top.
