Matt, I've learned one thing since I got back
into the RC hobby.
Selling items are worth 1/2,half as what we payed.
I could be wrong here, but, that is my opinion.
I got 800 into each of my Vorzas, I could not get 350 out of each one.
My live by policy, every thing I buy, I'm going to die with.

Matt, I notice that your signature is really shrinking
I'm thinking that with it missing the radio and receiver, that may
be a hold out for people?

So my Rival doesn't but about 5 runs on it and I started getting a grinding noise. I figured it may be a spur gear and went threw a stupid ordeal getting to where I could even see the see the spur gear and its looks fine so now I'm guessing it has weak diffs and I already have blown diffs. Anyone have any ideas before I tear this thing apart for nothing.

Since nobody could chime in on my question I dove into it on my own. I'd like to start by saying that after owning at least 10 AE vehicles this will the last as I move on to another brand. The clattering under acceleration had thinking spur gear or failed diff gear. Upon instection of spur, trans gears, center diff, and rear diff I found no damage yet but the diffs were bone dry, the fit and finish sucks, the design sucks, the bearing going out the front trans shaft sucks to get into place. All I left is the front but am yet to find the problem. It took me longer to check truck than my E-revos which I thought were the pinicle of junk to work on. I like the size of the and it doesn't handle too bad but working on it is bad and parts are low quality. Not even any sign of grease in the diffs pissed me off.

Nope, back to pro truggies. Doing the front surely didn't make me like it anymore. Upon a full inspection I could find nothing wrong. All I did was filled diffs with very lightweight grease and it now works fine.

I have read a thick diff fluid and stiffer springs can give me more speed. Is this correct?
