Life happens fast got a lot going on this month so i just ran 2 tries each car... pretty trash runs CCW on a precision layout like this is my nemesis for sure. I know the cars aren't bad but i can't drive any of them with any confidence ... Posting times just to keep continuity but they're going to be way off pace

AM03GT, I am the same way, if I don't drive every few days my times and confidence are crap! Thanks for posting your times! I'm trying next months layout options today, but my times aren't the best CCW either! I'm starting with track #3 since most favor it, and after running both directions, this layout is pretty fun! You can try to rip it without worry of hitting a protruding wall! Just ping-ponging down the straight! I ran CCW first since my reflexes where used to running that direction. I was able to get it down pretty quick, but I was trying a throttle ramp up. that's why the lap times go up, but mistakes follow! Going CW I bumped the throttle down 2 clicks from CCW's highest throttle setting, and went for consistency. After a few laps I was good!

It was fun to rip the walls!

CCW run

CW run for consistency!

I'll try #1 next

It would be great to have you back iDChuck, but Family FIRST! Come drive as soon as you can!

I setup track #2 this afternoon, as it has the same size inner loop. So it was easier!

The track is FAST!!! I ran CW first, as it's how I'm better. You can really open it up in the loop!
Anyway here's my times with my Stock Chassis with my Green Jomu. It has almost worn to slick KS radials so the rear end is greasy. VERY FUN!!

Any of next month's layouts look good to me, this months layout has me tired of diagonal straights, just can't keep from pingponging during my attempts. Struggled to match pace from CW and I'm not gonna share how many times I tried, but it has been fun overall. Waited too long to order some lighter T plates for my Porsche but hopefully I can get that thing tuned up for next month. Too many traction rolls to count on that one. See most others running different pods but I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet. Also kind of getting tired of the readyset controller, have had a couple glitch out now but after cleaning the steering pot one seems to be back in the game.

Gotta admit I think I'm done for the month, the rest of my track has been unused for the last two months now so I'm looking forward to using it all up and running 3 tiles wide for a bit. Kids can't handle the narrow track so I might be able to convince them to give it another try. They normally just like an oval, but that can be boring (even if I plan out on offshoot section using the rest of the turns for me to run).

Yep, the current layout IS TOUGH! The offset straights are fun, but very challenging, and that turns into frustration when your trying to learn! The next layout will be much easier to get your consistency down.

Here's my runs for layout #1 I tried to run my GLR, but the battery dumped around lap 30, so I went to my Pro Stock ( PN2.5, MR04 board, Anima 5500kv), and it was pretty good on the current setup for this months layout. I ran CW first then immediately switched to CCW. It was tough switching directions, but this layout allows for quick learning. I then went to my MX-5. I wanted to try a 90mm out, and I had to back off the throttle and steering, but I was able to get it down pretty good. It kept on grabbing the outside wall when I brushed it too hard. I'll need to work on it once we change layouts.

I'm down for any of the 3 layouts, as all are fun! 2 is the easiest, 1 is the fastest, and 3 takes the most driving skill.

One of the BEST thing I bought for this scale was my FlySky NB4!!! I feel soo much more connected to the cars compared to the ReadySet Tx!!! It works great for EVO's as it comes and if you add the Ready Set module, it will talk to 03/04 ReadySet boards too. I haven't had the best luck with Micro RX's for pan cars, but not the fault of the tx! From what I've read micro rx's can be hit or miss whatever the brand.

Believe me, I've looked at that and the Futaba 4PM+ a bunch of times. Just haven't pulled the trigger. This hobby can get expensive, especially for basement racing. At least the Mini96 I found on Facebook for a deal, but the expansions and timing sure accelerated things...

Top of the list for the next "wants" is a big boy radio and an Evo.

I've got my track back to this months layout, and I'm dialing in my cars for the current weather for my final timed runs. Most took just minor changes in the radio, but my Narrow Yaris took the most changes. I went to a 12t pinion from a 11, as I was topped out at 100% throttle with the 11t, and with the 12t I'm at 86% and FLYING! My tires were also getting paper thin and feeling greasy. So I went to 19mm 0mm Disk wheels with PN KS Low Height Medium on the front, and some Low Height tires on DXR MP1 Gold 20mm 0mm. I had to raise the front carbon body clip 1mm to get clearance for the disk wheels, but they have all but stopped TR!!! If I get crazy and try to muscle it around like a 98mm it will still roll, but if I'm smooth IT'S ON RAILS!!!

I think I'm going to have all 7 of my cars ready to run this month! So have fun straightening those curves!!!

Got my first timed run in with my BoxStock 12C, and it was just ok, as I woke up this morning with almost numb legs and my rt arm nerves aren't cooperating! So my consistency is crap, but for me a 3.200 fast lap in BoxStock is pretty good! So here it goes for this month.
Class-BOXSTOCK
Date- 06/29/2025
Location-Central Texas
Race Time- 274.807/ 4:34.807
Fastest Lap- 3.200
Chassis-MR04
Body- McLaren 12C
Wheelbase-98mm
Tires- F-PN KSM Medium LH / R- Marka V1R10
Wheels- F- N +1mm 20mm PN BBS Yellow / R- W +2mm 20mm PN BBS Yellow
Motor- Kyo Stock
Batteries- SpeedHouse 800HV
Front Springs- PN Red
T-Plate-Kyo #5 Soft Fiberglass
Motor Mount-Kyo Stock MM
Dampener (If applicable)- Kyo Spring shock (Yellow Spring)
Dampener Fluid (If applicable)- Atomic 25k grease
Gearing-7/44 Kyo Gear Diff- Ruby Lube packed
Notes- MR-04 Ready Set with Reflex 0* Aluminum Knuckles, and I removed the thermal switch from the motor, as it was a PIA to get the top cover back on after cleaning the motor!

Car was actually pretty good for BoxStock (not my favorite class, I really prefer brushless!) Rt arm was very twitchy so my run wasn't as clean as I would want!
