Grab some Fast Eddy's Bearings, some good Hex drivers, along with the shock oil and Diff fluid listed above gets you a good handling rig! I use a thin layer of Black RTV to seal the diffs since there is no gasket, and it will hold the diff fluid well.

Also a Hobbywing WP-16BL30 ESC is a HUGE UPGRADE! The best $25 I spent!!!

I run on my smooth Concrete driveway, and get the best traction with Contact 1/10 scale on-road foam tires! The wheel hexs are actually 1mm too deep and will rub the hub carriers. To solve I took some 1mm Lexan and cut out some hex "washers" to correct the spacing! I run a couple of different 1/10 on-road radials on the smooth asphalt street in front of the house.

HAVE A BLAST!!!

Just purchased the Reflex 14t for my son and noticed right away the issues with the ESC, just wanted to say thanks for the info about the ESC swap. Ordered one in hopes it fixes the low speed jitter and horrible braking/reverse response. Also going to put diff 5k/5k/3k diff oil as recommended by kireri

The ESC made a huge improvement in getting the Reflex to shine! Glad I could help and pass on the helpful info the Guys here taught me! I'm ready for nice weather so I can get my Reflex out and shred some foam tires!!!

What is the story on the new Gamma 14B version?

Any differences besides the body?

From what I understand just the body, I thought the differentials might be different but after discussing with another owner I have been told they already claim the current diffs are sealed.

just picked up one of these and really enjoying it so far..

how did you all fit other 1/10 wheels? I have some from another car but it seems the hex is too deep.

Looking forward to painting a custom body soon

I actually took a dremel and shaved the excess off the inside of the wheel so it would fit on the hex flush. It needs to be a decent job, but it doesn't have to be perfect, because the hex of the car will make it even and not wobble.

You can also use nylon washers as spacers

found some nice carbon spacer/shims from avid rc but they are a little more spendy than just getting some washers at the hardware store..

also found that the lighting kit from Murat RC for the mini 8ight fits the 14b nearly perfectly.

Does anyone know if the AGFRC brand "Mini" servos fit inplace of the stock steering servo on the Reflex 14b? The steering servo just went out on mine after just a few uses.

Only with heavy modification, I'm running a AGF-RC B26CLS Mini in mine.
Edit: also stock servo saver WILL NOT fit.
