I got my b4.2 put together and ready to hit the track on Friday! I'm hoping I can get the day off and get her all tuned up.

I'm starting with the Cav Reedy setup, only diffrence is that I don't have the rear hub C insert yet (using A) and i used traditional ESC & Rx mounting vs. the shelf, but am using the shorty pack. Any suggestions for HS?

That should be a good starting point. Ask Justin or Blane for help with the AE. They know them well.

Like Brian said it looks like a good starting point. It has been a long while since I have ran an AE car. What tire package (brand, type, compound and insert) are you running? Tire is going to make the biggest difference.

Picked up handlebar rears and Vektor I think they are called AKA fronts was my main plan, then got some Proline Ion's as well. Both in the softest compounds offered and kicked with white. Both aka' using aka red inserts and pro-lines using the included open cell foams.

Don't know if AE is the hottest setup in town anymore, but basically lets me share a parts box with my SC10 and I like that there is a wall full of parts for both 10ft from the track

Most of that setup is the same as mine but I run 3x1.4 tapered pistons and black springs all the way around. And I run green barcodes with the stock open cell foams at both ends. What did you think about it when you drove it at the warehouse?

Im running 4 hole pistons, black springs front and rear,ae 32.5 fr / 30 re, also 56 grams of weight up front and center weight in rear. The rest is box stock settings except I do run the center esc mount and use a shorty in front position.

Just got a set of 3 hole pistons in to try next.

Thanks guys! I'm going to shoot for a forgiving setup first and focus on driving, then tighten it up as get more confident with it. I'm mainly a 4x4 guy so I'll be working on my 2wd over fall and winter.

I'll be there with 2wd buggy and stadium truck. Although I'm just a moving barrier out there for most.
