I didn't actually solve the problem except to slow a little in the turns. Something I have to work on this season.

Default Getting Tamiya parts can be a pain

I'm not really happy with what I had to go thru to get the M parts to fix my TA07. Ripped the left front a-arm off breaking the 1A front mount. I had to go all over the internet to find an m parts tree. Finally found one at a hobby shop in England. Was going to buy aluminum but trying to figure out the different charts for what mounts I needed was confusing. Is this the normal way things go when trying to get replacement parts? Other than soft suspension parts that strip too easy I like the car.

I think it was posted here earlier (or one of the other sedan threads), but this page was a huge help for me in regards to the susp. mounts:

The commonly held wisdom is that you should upgrade parts that break if you can. In this case, getting alu suspension mounts is a great idea. They stiffen the suspension and make it behave more consistently.

I am going to continue to advocate for what has worked for both of my tamiya sedans: you need to get a giant parma foam bumper and make it as wide as possible in front of the wheels to divert those ripping forces that screw up our suspensions so much.

I have the Parma bumper. Here's what happened. running down the back straight on a medium sized asphalt track. The wall, which is painted white, had gotten shoved out, making the on coming plywood section stick out enough so the end of the panel caught the 1/8" that the tire stuck out from the bumper. Car went from full speed to dead stop in about 2 feet. Needless to say I packed up my stuff and left before I said things I'd be sorry for. In the end it's every racers responsibility to do a visual on the track they're running at.

I am going to get the aluminum pcs but haven't run it enough to know if I want to leave the stock settings or get something different when going aluminum.

Hello!

I have a technical question about the compatibility of standard Savox SC-0252mg servo motor and TA07 Pro chassis. The Savox output shaft is also compatible with Tamiya servo horn if I am correct? ...but the question is if the size of Savox servo motor is compatible with Tamiya TA07 Pro chassis...I have in my mind the attaching plastic part for mount the servo motor on chassis?

Thanks.

Default Aluminum ball studs

How many people knew in advance NOT to install the aluminum ball studs included in the kit? I've snapped 3 so far on not very hard hits. Hit or miss on getting the broken stud out. I'm in the process of replacing the alum ball studs with steel ones in the more common size of 4.3mm. Naturally replacing the rod ends also. Now if I need parts I can get them in any hobby shop. Rant over.

I have a Savox 1258 servo installed with the parts in the kit. Servo saver fits.
