No one with opinions on the carbon conversions yet?

I'm guessing the Jazrider is out as its 3mm carbon vs 2.25mm(ish) from everyone else. The 2.25mm would have more flex and be better for asphalt right?

I’ll be racing my 419xr, 417x and the TA07ms at my local tracks yearly 2 day race in Stockton, Ca next week I’ll give you feed back afterwards. Felt the car was to flexible. So I made a center brace that mounts from the motor mount to the servo holder. I also modified an old D bridge block so I can run D-D up front

im really liking the 419xr. I’m using the 417x in usgt. It’s fast. But I need to find a little more. I’m excited to try the TA07MS though

Does anyone know if this Tamiya part# 51568 will fit/work in a TA07 Pro kit? It is a complete diff kit made for the TRF419.

https://www.tamiyausa.com/shop/spare...diff-unit-set/

On a few of the online stores it does show it is compatible in the description, but on TamiyaUSA it doesn't.

Thanks for the quick replies to my diff question. I have another question/observation.

I was looking at the different versions of the TA07 using TamiyaUSA. If you view each car, you can look up spare parts and hop up parts. From what I could gather each version of the car comes with different FF/FR suspension mounts.

Tamiya TA07 Pro
FF = 1A (Tamiya 0115527 M Parts) 1 piece plastic
FR = 1A-1XA (Tamiya 0115527 M Parts) split plastic (2 pieces)

Tamiya TA07 R
FF = 1B (Tamiya 54070) 1 piece aluminum
FR = 1B-1XB (Tamiya 54173) split aluminum (2 pieces)

Tamiya TA07 MS
FF = 05E (Tamiya 54701) 1 piece aluminum
FR = 05E (Tamiya 54698) split aluminum (2 pieces)

----------

Basically based on my understanding of the Tamiya suspension mounts, this would mean between the 3 kits..
TA07 Pro = most narrow
TA07 R = wider
TA07 MS = widest & lower roll center (unless there are differences in chassis thickness)

I'm running VTA with my TA07 Pro and planning on making the front end wider due to the difference in tire width (26mm front/0mm offset & 31mm rear/6mm offset).

Any ideas how to clean the belt without wrecking it?

I clean my white LF belt with body wash on a rag on my fingertip . works great (very small amount) been going strong about a year. The white can wear off so make sure that is not your issue(spacing on the dark spots on your belt makes me think this bcs of the way they are perfectly spaced) hmmmmm.

Indy, wider makes the car seen more stable but you give up some steering, I would play with wheel spacer shims to see how you like the different offset b4 changing blocks Tamiya part 53646 or another brand of the same.
make sure you switch to a non flanged wheel nut to compensate for this.

They are suspiciously spaced above the teeth and it has had to work hard!
