2 questions:

What is the internal tranmission ratio of this car?

What is the part number for the battery brace?

Got my kit and noticed the left rear bulkhead was missing the sway bar mounting hole.

Anyone else have this or related problems? And, how do you go about getting it resolved. Haven't started building yet, so not sure if there are other holes missing. Probably not, and I probably won't use a sway bar, but who knows....

Default T2 Quality-Control Issues?

I've been following this forum from day #1. Before everyone had the kits, all anyone talked about was how Xray makes very high quality stuff. Since people have them, it seems there has been a lot of talk about problems with the kits. People are having to shim this-and-that, and dremel various parts. Is this to be expected, or does it represent a fall-off in quality from Xray?

I had no problems with my kit. I built everything last night. Took about 4 hours. I had to space the servo out a little, but Xray gives you shims to do so.

You cannot expect Xray to build a car to fit every servo on the market and fit every stlye of foam tire. Very simple , less than a minute fix, and the parts are included to space things for you. Nothing extra to buy.

I think alot of guys are here just to complain...shut up and race.

Team GP,

Thanks for all of your tiips....went smooth...

Default PRS Gear Fitment

Hey Guys,

I have made PRS aware of this issue with the new T2 and PRS gears. PRS is looking into a way to slightly change the gear to fit but still keep its strength. Untill then you can do as HarshGuy done or you can counter sink 3 of the holes and use a flat head screw....There is plenty of meat on the PRS to do this.

Thanks

Nearly every single car on the market has been shimmed somewhere. Something on it has been dremeled and a kit has missed a part. Some people I think all they care about is complaining. In other words they would bitch if they were hung with a new rope.

I have seen the car first hand and all I got to say that this kit is second to none. How many maufactors give you the stuff that you get in this kit. legitment Setup sheets die cut stickers, laminated rollout charts, the best setup guide on the market.

Everyone in the US bitched that we race foam carpet so we want the dual diff. So what did RC America do? They went to Xray and said that they wanted the American cars to have dual diffs in the kits. Than for a added bonus they threw in a set of Jaco foams.

Now granted some people might have legitment gripes as any company have bad product fall through the cracks I just wish people would be satisfied. The only other car and or person right now that hold a candle to this car would probably be Reinhard and his Tamyia MSX.

You guys need to look on the bright side you could be here for a year listening to Todd Hodge telling you the car will be released in two weeks. And get setups from the factory guys that are meaningless seeing that every since the inception of the car the pros have ran prototype parts that are not available to the public. (I'm talking about the JRXS)

So be happy damm it!!

I second that Huskerfreak

All the cars have little things pop up.
But some have stuff on the cars make you think they rushed stuff to get the kit out.
I'm not going to mention brands but some of them have bigger fixes than shims.
Like with the chassis, location holes not square to the chassis. ( they know who I'm talking about. )
But all that aside. Things happen.
You fix and go on.

Default Yea...I also agree.

We RCers do have a tendency to complain a lot, I know I do. It must be the perfectionist personality type. But, Xray, has to be the better of the companies. I guess mass production has something to do with kit quality.

Jamie, are you getting one? There are going to be a lot of them on the local track soon.
