The car is solid and the only things I have broken are the side links after some heavy crashes (who put that dot there!?!?!?!)
I have the same complaint about the side links, at least the ones that came with the kit. They break in half right at the center really easily. Ive bought replacement links and those seem to hold up a lot better.

notes for tuning the differential
if your diff is too loose you will notice while cornering that you are lagging power on corner exit or you might hear your car diffing out ( an audible whining noise) if your diff is too tight then your car will hook and spin when exiting the corner
i have stacked differential washers like so ()( to allow more pressure on the diff platesjji
if you slap the boards you will seize the 5x11 bearing in the differential
this will produce a locked rear axle feeling
i reccomend using the tamiya f104 thrust bearing to prevent this from happening as it is very frustrating when it happens
i hope this helps, if you have any further questions please dont hesitate to ask or message me on facebook enjoy

What body is this?

Yes F104.
The first front wing I tried was the Serpant. It was very weak. Top, Xray montech are all good

Thanks, would have to try the serpent and associated ones if mine breaks again. So far the stock replacement from VBC is holding up quite well.

You can make more solid ones if you want. I made some out of crawler parts on an f104v2
Or just find a long turn buckle

I much rather the links flex back to shape than permanently bend if you do get into a crash

Weight wise, if you are running a low profile 2 cell pack, shouldnt be a problem, you have to bump up the weight anyways no?

Yes that is true. But if your not running one.. Plus links are cheap. I have felt that I have only broken one when I really deserved it. If you have too much pod droop this can also contribute to broken links in a forward crash.
