I just had my first run with my 4.5 last night, boy was it fast.
It was only coming off at 120 deg and was very strong through the run. Looks like I won't have to push it too hard till the big events come around

I'm on Spain and every Novak stuff I once bought was from tower... they have now a discount of US$30 for international shipping... at for such a small item, shipping is no more than 18-20 bucks (airmail)... for me, makes a lot of sense. PM me if you want the discount code.

cheers,
al

As far as I can smell, nothing is shorted with the esc or anything in the motor. I just bought a rotor from MarcosJ. I'll let you guys know the outcome when I replace the rotor. Thanks again for the advice!!!

Guys I need some input.

I basically destroyed by trans cap on my gtb (came off the double sided tape and scrapped on asphalt). I have ordered a replacement by it will take a while. So, my question is can I temporary substitue it with an aftermarket cap? Will an aftermarket cap effect the esc in anyway?

you can buy one from any electronic stores. just make sure that it has the same microfarad usually 4700uf, regarding the voltage (10v is fine or 16v). I installed one in my esc at it works great. some say that you should choose capacitors with low esr but any capactiros will do the job just fine.
make sure to connect it properly, or you'll blow that capacitor. I blow one before and man it was smooking scary..
