Default New Novak Brushless System

Any info on the new novak brushless system. I heard that the controller would be a similar size to a GTX ESC.

I don't think it will be that small. I was told it was the same size as the SS

It is the same size. I held the new ESC in my hand and it is huge just like the old one. Another reason why I am getting the sphere...and Neo motor...It actually can handle the brushed motors down to the ground plus the Neo is the equivilant of a 9T....and not hear say either....I watch Team AE testing this motor and ESC a few weeks back at a local track...
But glad to see Novak keep everyone on there toes.

Default I don't think the brushed/brushless speedo....

is their new one for mod racing. They just put that out because LRP had one. Their new mod one is not out yet. They are still testing it and I'm sure they want to see what LPR offers before they release theirs. I'll hold off for the Novak unit. Besides, LPR one is just as big as the Novak unit with the heatsink. LRP says you will have to run a heatsink. Otherwise it's nearly the same size. Plus Novak has great customer service.

Novak have a new range of brushless systems, including one that takes the equivalent of 6 turn motors.

Check their website.

I heard that within a couple of days more info will be posted in their site. One thing is forsure, it will be similar to a 7-8 turn brushed which will be good.

Looks like the GTX. That would be cool for it to be that small. I have the SS and SS+ those speedos are big. Can't wait for the GTB. It's not July yet? lol

Now we're talking!

Brushless motors of 5.5 turn equivalence. That's a bit more like it.

Default Oh yes!

That's what I'm talking about. Any close pics of the speedo compared to the SS one? I hope you can still use my 4300 for stock with the adjustability of this new speedo. Novak didn't hold back any punches.

Not quite equivalent:

Novak 5800 is 8.5 turn but was comparable to a 12 turn brushed motor
Velocity 5.5 turn will be close to a 7.7 turn brushed motor which is still better than the LURP. Can't wait to get mine
