Hey guys,
does anyone of you know if I can fit a 74t 48dp spur gear with a 32t 48dp pinion with the original motor mount in the TT-02? I'm trying to get as close to a 6.0:1 and can't find a 65 spur in module 0.6. -------------------------------------- I compared my TT-02 on short wheelbase and the Carrera RSR body with my TA-02SW. Same gearing, same tires, ball bearings, same weight, same ESC, same Motor - TT-02 with optimized setup, TA-02SW except changes mentioned completely box stock. Ran with both chassis almost the same lap times. I can't say that the TT-02 is much better on short wheelbase than the TA-02SW - might be different on running long wheelbases. |
Hi. Bought a tt-02 to race in a tt class. Not using the kit slick tires for racing, just for shaking the car out in the parking lot. The tires in the kit didn't come with inserts. Will they work without them or should I make inserts out of some sct open cell foams that I have? Tks in advance.

Hello
I'm playing the standard tt02 with teampower blackcan brushed motor. I bought the yr front upper arm to make the car have front camber adjustment. Overall the car runs well but the problem is, when using metal upper arm, the turnbuckles will deform easily. Is there any alternative method to achieve adjustable front camber other than buying a type-s chassis? |

Some really cool looking TT02's there. I am in the middle of making a TT02-S race spec. I also recently got the TT02D Type-S which has more goodies than the std TYPE-S but is the same price!
http://www.thercracer.com/2015/09/ta...build-and.html The specs are: -54501 Alu propeller -54502 Alu propeller joint -54500 High speed gear set. -54571 Alu motor heat sink. -54639 Carbon front damper stay. -54640 Carbon rear damper stay. -54550 Low Friction step screws. -54649 Diff Lock Block. -53682 Alu Bumper stopper -42273 TRF dampers and a ball beaing set :) http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/...psbeqvfnf7.jpg |

Fits just fine when using mounting position 'J'. |

Is it possible to use a larger pinion perhaps a 34 48dp with the motor mount?
Looking at the space left between chassis and 32t pinion I'd say it fits, but I wouldn't say that I'm sure with a gun pointing at my head :D Larger problem would be the mounting position to get the needed space. Maybe a 30t pinion module 0.6 in mounting position 'J' in combination with a 64t spur is the better way to try - that would end up in a 5.55 FDR. Only thing is I'm not sure if there's a 30t m0.6 pinion is available in steel... |

I'm sorry, but since I don't own a 34t pinion I'm not able to check.

Hey All, do you think a 10 year old kid could put together a TT02 kit? If not, whats a good first TC for a 10 year old?

This thread has been very helpful!
Does anyone know of any good deals on the TT-02T or TT-02B kit? Just need the basic kit. I have most of the electronics already. Thanks! |
have any of you guys been running diff oils in the TT02 diffs? I know I read some place that anything less than (i think) 300k will just leak out - if anyone is running less than that, how are you sealing the diffs?
I plan on running the TT02 spec class for TCS, so anything has to fit within TCS rules and tech... I'm not overly worried about the thicker stuff, as I'd probably run 300k or 500k in the front diff, so I get a spool-like action, but still fit within the TCS rules that the diff has to work any ideas? |

no good. i have to be able to show the diff works - and the diff gum restricts about 95% of the movement and that won't fly past tech
