It is commonly admitted that 13.5 is also stock... Then it will also depends on the timing, blinky or boosted.

“stock” = controlled wind and controlled electronic timing (no boost) is the commonly held view.

super stock, stock, pro stock, sports stock - all deviations on a theme.

mod means no limits (Well, can size and rotor size have absolute limits). Boost, timing, winds - up to you.

This car is working very well for me in VTA now. I got the setup down and found that I needed to add limiters inside the shocks to change the droop on the car. Once I did that the car got a heck of a lot better .

Does anyone know if the steering knuckles and rear hubs from TT01 can also work on TT02? Besides the small difference that TT01 uses 5x11 instead of 5x10 bearings for the wheel axles, are the parts interchangeable?

You on black carpet? Can you share your setup? Tried running mine the other day and pulled off after 2 laps car felt like it was on ice. Think the aluminum steering might be a must

Car is dialed...running on outdoor asphalt...35wt oil ft and rear. 1.5mm shim inside shocks f+r. shocks all the way in on front and all the way out on rear. HPI tires front and rear...Vintage tires...5.5 ride ht front ...5.0 in the rear. Calms car down...Added the 3Racing oilfilled diff in the rear with 1000wt oil and a 3racing spool in the front. PF mustang body.....I use Savox servos. 1251mg ..59.00 from the bay and fast and strong.....Also use the yeah racing adjustable motor mount, the one with the slots not the holes and usa a 82 t spur and a 51 t pinion in 64p. 6mm hub in rear 5mm hub in ft....1.5mm toe out on front 3 deg toe in alum hub on rear.

The sweep - 120deg - isn’t really that unusual for an entry level (and some expensive!) servo and not issue.

don’t expect it to be amazing and actually meet the specs below (which are also fine in theory) and might not last that long - it’s a cheap servo.

Nope the rears will not work since the TT01 upright is wider than the TT02 so will not fit in the TT02 rear lower arm. You can probably fit a TT02 rear upright onto a TT01, you’ll just need to add spacers between the lower arm and the upright.

The front TT01 steering knuckles will fit on the TT02 suspension, but they are shorter so it will change the angle of the upper and lower control arms, thus affecting your roll center. Remember the TT02 steering knuckle needs a spacer above or below it to keep the arms parallel to each other.

Thanks. I'll see if I can modify the TT01 uprights to make them fit the lower arms. Think I can trim down some plastic material on it so it becomes narrower.

I just want to have the option of running 5x11 wheel bearings. 5x10 bearings in the TT02 uprights still work fine for me. Just want to try something new.

It looks like my TT-02 will need to go through a full teardown and rebuild. I had a high speed crash a while back and just now realized that the impact was so hard that the motor mount hole in the tub chassis is destroyed. The diff cover is also cracked so I'll be inspecting for other possible damage when it's torn down. It hit the curb head on @ 35+mph. Completely my fault. It was still all in one piece and still drivable afterwards, which I didn't expect it to be. Since I am planning to do a complete inspection and rebuild, I also plan to take this opportunity to attempt making it my 1st dedicated rain/wet car with stainless steel hardware, stainless steel bearings and all waterproof electronics.
